Imlie 12th May 2023 Written Update: The episode opens with Chini startled to see Imlie entering the kitchen. She quickly conceals herself and overhears Imlie questioning Kairi, alone in the room, about preparing the kadha (an herbal drink). As Kairi is about to reveal Chini’s presence, she catches herself and misleads Imlie. Following the brief encounter, Imlie escorts Kairi outside. Alone now, Chini ruminates over the familiar voice she heard, attributing it to her imagination before making a swift exit.
Kairi returns to the kitchen to retrieve the forgotten kadha while Imlie trails behind her. The children then present Kairi with gifts from their mothers, noting that Kairi’s mother never reaches out because she doesn’t care for her. This upsets Kairi, and she leaves, prompting Imlie to search for her. Meanwhile, Chini roams the streets, determined not to lose Kairi or Arto this time.

Expressing her longing for her mother, Kairi finds herself unable to cross a busy street. She calls Chini for help, who instructs her to stay put. Imlie spots Kairi and warns her against crossing the road alone. However, Chini is puzzled about who else might be looking for Kairi as she can’t spot Imlie. Elsewhere, a drunk Arto admits his frustration over Imlie’s appearance in his thoughts despite her choosing Dhairya over him. He confesses his enduring love for Imlie, which he hasn’t been able to forget over the past five years.
Imlie hears Kairi’s desperate cry for help and finds her stuck in a ditch. Visibly scared, Kairi pleads with Imlie to get her out. Contemplating her options, Imlie tries to keep Kairi calm by asking her to think about her father, promising to return soon with help.

Arto attempts to confess his feelings to Imlie, but she doesn’t respond as she leaves her phone behind at the camp. Meanwhile, Imlie manages to flag down a car, asking the driver for assistance. However, upon seeing the depth of the ditch, the man doubts their ability to rescue Kairi quickly.
At Rana House, Devika picks up Arto’s call. He hesitates before becoming emotional, prompting Devika to urge him to speak. Overhearing Dhairya refer to her as “Choti Mom,” Arto abruptly ends the call, enraged that Dhairya has replaced him in his mother’s affections.
Imlie assures Kairi that they will soon return to the summer camp and soothes her with a lullaby. As Kairi drifts off to sleep, Imlie considers her options for rescuing the frightened and likely injured girl. Spotting a road roller nearby, she takes a bold course of action.
