Yashwant calls Mandar to share the good news: Durva has agreed to marry Sam. They decide to have the engagement ceremony after the Diwali festival and plan to celebrate Diwali together. Samrudh, however, is puzzled as to why his father is in such a hurry. Mandar explains that they have spent a lot of money on their new house and on making Samrudh’s profile look good, so he needs to get married to Durva quickly before any further problems come up. He also mentions that Savi is studying at the same college as Durva. Samrudh is confident that Durva will not change her mind about the marriage.
Meanwhile, Ashwini calls Savi to start the countdown for her birthday and checks if she has eaten. Savi, not wanting to worry her, lies that she is eating now. Ashwini shares that she has made Savi’s favourite food and suggests having a video call dinner together. Savi makes an excuse about a poor internet connection to avoid the video call and eats biscuits instead, reassuring Ashwini.

He feels that his attempt to befriend her has failed. Surekha then calls Ishaan to remind him about their shopping plans for his wedding attire.
Precap: Harini tells Savi that they must pay the house rent of Rs 25,000 within a week, or they will have to leave the house. A lady offers Savi a job but warns her that if she accepts, she won’t be allowed to meet anyone or talk about her job to anyone, and she can’t quit once she starts.
