Sayuri responds by expressing her sole concern for Kanha’s well-being, emphasizing that she doesn’t want to disturb his mental peace. She inquires about the director her friend had recommended, but Nakul explains that he couldn’t meet his friend due to an accident and other issues. However, he assures her that he will try to meet the director. Amu’s friend then provides her with Nakul’s address, making Amu delighted.
Later, Chaman irritates Sayuri by bragging about Kanha hugging her, mistaking her for Sayuri. Sayuri becomes upset but refrains from revealing the truth to everyone. Chaman insists that Sayuri confess the truth to Kanha and demands she leave. At the dining table, Sayuri musters the courage to ask Kanha to leave the house. Unexpectedly, Kanha takes it as a joke and laughs, believing it to be a prank. Sayuri tries to convince him that it’s true, but Kanha thinks it’s a prank. This infuriates Chaman, who storms off.
Later, Chaman confronts Sayuri with divorce papers, admitting that she had planned to keep it a secret but was provoked into revealing it. She shows the divorce papers to Kanha, claiming that Sayuri has already signed them, and urges him to sign them. However, Kanha refuses to sign and walks away, Nakul following. Concerned family members question Sayuri about her hasty decision, but she struggles to explain. Chaman argues that it’s Sayuri’s life, and she can do whatever she wishes.

Chaman forcibly takes Sayuri inside and demands that she obtain Kanha’s signature. Nakul shares with Kanha the circumstances under which Sayuri was compelled to sign the papers.
