Renuka wants a suitable girl for her son and invites the family of a wealthy girl to their home to finalize the marriage. However, when Renuka walks outside to welcome them, the driver informs her they won’t come. The driver explains that the family doesn’t want any relationship with Tejas because they learned about his bad reputation.

They found out that Tejas had run away from his first marriage. Sachin feels proud witnessing the integrity of the girl’s family and is overwhelmed by their decision. Renuka is devastated by this truth. Sachin reminds her of his father’s humiliation when Tejas left his first marriage. Tejas also feels very low after realizing this reality. Paresh advises his son to find a good job quickly so he can move forward in life again.

Paresh believes that if Tejas tries to correct his mistakes, life will give him a second chance. Paresh wants to punish the girl who ran away with his 27 lakh rupees and decides to file a case against her so that she gets punished when she returns to India. Tejas and Paresh go to the police station together. Sayali goes to her shop and discovers that Sachin has sold the golden chain her mother gave him.
She is shocked and hurt. At home, she questions Sachin about why he sold the chain. Sachin repeatedly says that he didn’t sell it because of his alcohol addiction but for another reason. Sayali doesn’t listen to his excuses and lashes out at him. She also fears that Sachin might take her other gold jewellery from the cupboard, which makes Sachin even more upset. After Sachin leaves, Sayali tells her father-in-law that Sachin has sold the golden chain.
Paresh can’t understand Sachin’s behaviour but assumes there is a reason behind it. He promises Sayali that he will handle the issue. Renuka finds the situation amusing. She tries to make Paresh feel guilty about his mistakes, but Paresh insists he did nothing wrong. The next morning, Paresh discovers Sachin hasn’t returned home and slept in his car.
Sachin promises his father that he will return the golden chain to Sayali within a few days. Meanwhile, Tejas and Rashni start developing feelings for each other. Rashni calls Tejas and confesses that she enjoyed spending time with him. Tejas feels the same way. Rashni asks him to meet her the next day.
