Harneet says she did everything for her son but didn’t know Sahiba would kill Daljeet. Arminder Gill and Harneet stop talking when they see Amu. Akir misses his mother, Sahiba, and wonders where she is.

Simran shows Akir a photo of her parents in her locket and says she lost both of them and stayed in an orphanage for a while. Angad comes to Akir and asks if he can feed him. Akir refuses and lashes out, saying he doesn’t believe Angad is his father. Akir insists that Daljeet is his father and asks where Sahiba is. Angad vows to bring Sahiba back soon, but Akir doesn’t believe him and leaves.
Harneet tells Arminder Gill that Sahiba might know she is Daljeet’s mother. Angad talks to Sahiba in the police station about Akir. The cops call Angad, saying they found something strange at the crime scene. Sahiba recalls that Daljeet was calling someone “mother” at the scene, but she couldn’t see her face. She tells Angad about it. Angad thinks this is how Daljeet became rich overnight. Angad and Garry go to the crime scene, and the cops show them another bullet shell casing.
Angad realizes that another gun was fired at the same time as Sahiba’s, which is why no one heard the sound. He wonders who fired the gun. It is revealed that Arminder Gill replaced Sahiba’s gun with the one that killed Daljeet. Arminder Gill tries to take the gun away but runs into the cops. He later returns to the crime scene, gets Sahiba’s gun, and leaves. Arminder Gill calls someone and asks them to kill Sahiba in jail. Angad wonders how to get bail for Sahiba and decides to stay close to her.
