Maati Se Bandhi Dor 23rd June 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Vaiju’s house is on fire. She helps Kaveri escape. Vaiju shouts to find Jaya and Durga. She sees Jaya unconscious and picks her up. Everyone tries to stop Vaiju, but she jumps back into the fire to find Durga. She finally finds her and brings her out. Sulekha talks about Vaiju leaving the family embarrassed. Vasundhara says she can’t believe Vaiju would do this, and there must be a reason. She still supports Vaiju and asks Rannvijay if Vaiju told him anything.

Salim calls Rannvijay to inform him about the fire at Vaiju’s home. Rannvijay rushes to the hospital, and Salim thanks him for coming. He asks about Vaiju and the family. Salim says Durga’s condition is serious. Rannvijay sees unconscious Jaya being taken and asks her to open her eyes. Kaveri tells Rannvijay that Vaiju overheard his conversation with Jaya. Vaiju found out about their love and stopped the marriage so they could be together. She also reveals that they are real siblings. Rannvijay is shocked by the truth.

Rannvijay confronts Vaiju and asks why she didn’t tell everyone the truth. Vaiju says she didn’t want anyone to question their love and hopes Jaya recovers soon. Rannvijay recalls how Vaiju took the blame on herself. Vasundhara meets Vaiju and hugs her. She encourages Vaiju to be strong. The doctor informs them that Jaya’s operation is done, but she hasn’t opened her eyes yet. Vaiju meets Durga and removes her mask to say something. Durga wants to confess her truth to Vaiju.
Durga tells Vaiju that she couldn’t be a good mother. She says once Vaiju knows the truth, she won’t be able to forgive her, but she doesn’t want to die with the burden. Durga admits she got all of Vaiju’s 14 proposals broken by telling lies about her. Vaiju remembers everything and feels shattered. Durga apologizes to Vaiju for causing her so much pain. Vaiju says she won’t let anything happen to her, but Durga takes her last breath. Vaiju cries and calls for the doctor.
The doctor asks Vaiju to go outside and gives Durga a shock treatment, but she doesn’t revive. Rannvijay holds Vaiju as the doctor informs them they can’t save Durga. Kaveri rushes to Durga. Jaikant celebrates burning Vaiju’s house and learns that Vaiju and her family are inside. Gopal tells him about Durga dying and Jaya being in critical condition. The police question Vaiju about anyone around her house, but she doesn’t know anything. The episode ends with the doctor informing them that Jaya has gone into a coma.
Precap: Vaiju will not be allowed to perform Durga’s last rites. Later, she will ask Rannvijay to care for Jaya while she goes to the next village to look for work.
