Maati Se Bandhi Dor 22nd June 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Kaveri asks Jaya where she is, but Jaya doesn’t reply. Vasundhara tells Vaiju she is pleased because he has made her dreams come true. Vaiju arrives and remembers the conversation between Rannvijay and Jaya. She sits quietly while Vasundhara begins the next ritual by touching a silver coin to Vaiju’s head and giving it to her. But Vaiju stops her and says she doesn’t want to get married. Vasundhara asks Vaiju if someone has told her something. Vaiju apologizes and says she can’t go ahead with the marriage.

Rannvijay supports Vasundhara while Kaveri and Salim try to stop Vaiju. Even Durga asks Vaiju to continue the rituals. Vaiju says she doesn’t want to explain and is sure about her decision. She leaves Rannvijay’s house, heartbroken, thinking about him confessing to Jaya. Jaikant pours alcohol into a water tank and asks his men to keep the empty bottle. His men bring petrol. Jaya is crying at home when Vaiju arrives. Jaya is shocked to see her and asks why she is there.

Durga gets angry at Vaiju and confronts her. Vaiju looks at Jaya and says she broke the marriage because Jaya broke her heart. Vaiju is upset with Jaya for lying to her. She asks Jaya why she didn’t tell her about her and Rannvijay’s love. Durga and Kaveri are shocked to hear this. Jaya says they were in love in Mumbai, but when Rannvijay heard that Vaiju loved him, she ended her relationship. Jaya tells Vaiju that she deserves her happiness, too.
Vaiju says that as the elder sister, it’s her duty to give Jaya all the happiness, but Jaya made a big sacrifice. Vaiju asks Jaya to confess the truth and says that she and Rannvijay are meant for each other. Jaya says Vaiju loves Rannvijay, but Vaiju clarifies that Rannvijay still loves Jaya. Jaikant and his men throw petrol bottles at Vaiju’s house. Vaiju tells Jaya to come with her and accept her love for Rannvijay.
Kaveri hears the sound of fire at their door and informs the others. Vaiju’s house is on fire. She opens the window, and the flames keep coming in. Salim sees the fire from outside and gathers people to help while Vaiju and her family are trapped inside. Vaiju gets up and sees Jaya lying unconscious next to her.

Precap: Kaveri will tell Rannvijay that Vaiju overheard his conversation with Jaya and discovered their love, so she broke off the marriage. Vaiju will say she didn’t want anyone to question their love.
