Maati Se Bandhi Dor 17th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Rannvijay works at a mill while Vaiju wonders if she should talk to him. Ragini calls Vaiju and asks her to pick up Arhaan from school because she has her first online sitar class at the same time. Vaiju agrees, and Ragini thanks her. Vaiju notices that Rannvijay is in a bad mood, so she informs Jaikant that she will pick up Arhaan from school and return in an hour. Vaiju goes to the school and asks Arhaan to walk home with her, but he insists on going by car.

Vaiju decides to give Arhaan a piggyback ride, but he says he is too grown-up. He keeps complaining about the sunlight and dust. Finally, Vaiju agrees to take him home by auto-rickshaw. The auto-rickshaw driver is drunk, but Vaiju doesn’t notice it. Vaiju and Arhaan get into the auto, but the driver starts driving recklessly. Vaiju asks him to stop, but he assures her he will get them home safely. Arhaan gets scared. The driver nearly gets into an accident and argues with another driver.

Vaiju decides to drive the auto-rickshaw herself. People on the road start recording her, and Jaikant sees this too. He tells Rannvijay that Vaiju left work without informing anyone and is risking Arhaan’s safety. Vaiju and Arhaan finally reach home, and Arhaan says he had a lot of fun. He asks Vaiju to pick him up from school daily and excitedly shares his experience with everyone at home. Ragini asks him to calm down, and just then, Rannvijay arrives angrily with Jaikant. He questions Vaiju about why she left the mill and was driving a rickshaw. Ragini defends Vaiju, explaining that she had asked Vaiju to pick up Arhaan from school.
Vaiju explains what happened and how the rickshaw driver was drunk, so she had to drive it herself. Suddenly, there is a commotion outside Moide Patil’s house. All the auto drivers gather, accusing Vaiju of stealing the auto-rickshaw. Rannvijay defends Vaiju, saying the driver was drunk. The driver calls Vaiju a thief, but Rannvijay tells everyone that Vaiju did the right thing. Vaiju interrupts takes out a bottle of alcohol from the driver’s possession and asks others to smell it. She asks Nagraj to explain the law and punishment. The driver begs not to have his license cancelled.
Rannvijay tells the driver to apologize to Vaiju before leaving. He then jokes with Vaiju, saying he will deduct her salary next time if she leaves without informing him. Jaya tries to talk to Rannvijay, but he remembers their argument, and Vasundhara watches them. Later, Rannvijay asks for tea, and Vaiju brings it to him. She says she made a special tea just for him. Vaiju thanks Rannvijay for defending her in front of the auto drivers. Rannvijay smiles while drinking the tea, and the episode ends with Jaya playfully covering his eyes from behind, and he mistakes her for Vaiju.
