Jhanak 22nd November 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, a conflict between Urbashi and Jhanak. Jhanak had an accident with Anirudh and argued with Bharat. Urbashi becomes angry and hits Jhanak hard with a stick. Jhanak bravely asks for more beating, preferring it to giving up her education. Anirudh witnesses this and supports Jhanak, telling Urbashi to stop. Sristi and Bharat tell Urbashi to stop creating trouble during a celebration at their home. Anirudh’s family is shocked by Urbashi and Bharat’s harsh treatment of Jhanak. Arshi feels sorry for Jhanak.
Meanwhile, officials from the Kashmir festival invite Sristi and her daughter, but Sristi says she’s too busy to attend. They also invite Arshi, who promises to join. Sristi brags about her skills, but when asked about the judges, they learn Brijbhushan will be there. This news upsets Urbashi.
Jhanak’s mother, Urbashi, asks her to eat, but Jhanak refuses. Jhanak wants to leave home, but Urbashi explains their difficulties. Anirudh and Arshi bring medicine for Jhanak, who is still angry. Arshi suggests that Jhanak join the Kashmir festival to feel better. But when Urbashi hears Brijbhushan will be judging, she forbids Jhanak from going.
The next day, Arshi encourages Jhanak to defy her mother and join the festival. Jhanak hesitates, not wanting to disobey Urbashi. Later, Arshi asks Anirudh to bring Jhanak back with him. She wants to help Jhanak participate.
Sristi, Vinayak, and Arshi go to the festival. Anirudh returns to get Jhanak. Jhanak’s college friend Rahul also encourages her to join the college fest. Jhanak doesn’t want to upset her mother, but Rahul tries to persuade her. Urbashi asks Jhanak to clean Arshi’s room, but Jhanak uses the chance to practice dancing.

This episode has a dramatic and emotional story about how Jhanak fights against being mistreated by Urbashi and her mother. There is a lot of physical and emotional fighting, which shows how determined and robust Jhanak is, especially regarding her education. Adding the Kashmir festival adds a cultural element, new characters and competition to the main plot.
With the cliffhanger about Sristi’s plan to stop Jhanak from succeeding, the episode does a good job setting up future drama. An exciting mix of family drama, cultural background, and personal struggles makes for a fun watch.
