Jhanak 10th December 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Jhanak is in the bathroom, trying to clean the red powder (vermilion) from her forehead. Anirudha asks her to come with him to Kolkata. Jhanak worries about causing trouble for Anirudha and her mother, but Anirudha insists he can manage. Jhanak struggles to remove the vermilion as it is sticky. They both miss their train because they are late.
Bharat is angry because he couldn’t marry Jhanak. He feels cheated and tricked. When he returns home, he threatens his family, thinking Jhanak ran away with Anirudha. Bharat’s family denies any involvement, but Tejas suspects they helped Jhanak. Despite Bharat denying any connection between Jhanak and Anirudha, Tejas demands that Bharat find Jhanak, or he will harm the family.
Arshi visits Anirudha’s home to learn about him. His family welcomed her warmly and told her not to worry, as Anirudha would be home soon. They all look forward to Arshi and Jhanak’s wedding.
On the train, Anirudha tells Jhanak she can use the washroom. There, Jhanak changes out of her wedding dress into ordinary clothes, feeling sad about her mother. Anirudha finds her looking out of the door and pulls her back, scolding her as he thinks she is trying to harm herself.
Apu waits for a gift promised by Anirudha. Meanwhile, the family speculates why Anirudha is late. Some suggest Jhanak might have misled Anirudha. Tejas captures Jhanak and Anirudha.
Precap: Jhanak and Anirudha will be on their way to catch another train. Anirudha leaves Jhanak to find an auto-rickshaw, and Tejas threatens her. He orders his men to grab Jhanak, but Anirudha stands by her protectively. Tejas aims a gun at Anirudha, who then marks Jhanak’s forehead with vermilion, showing she is his wife.

There is a lot of drama and emotional intensity in this episode. Jhanak’s struggle with the vermilion paint shows how she feels about herself and how important marriage is in her culture.
