Surekha comes over and sees Ishaan smiling to himself. She gets curious and tries to peek at what he’s looking at, but Ishaan quickly changes the subject and asks her what she needs.
Surekha tells Ishaan to come home early the next day because a girl’s family is coming to see him for marriage. But Ishaan says he can’t because he has a cultural event at work and doesn’t know when it will finish. Surekha decides to move the meeting to the next week and tells Ishaan to keep that day free. Ishaan agrees to this plan.
Elsewhere, Savi spots a comet in the sky, making her think of her parents. She promises them she will work hard to become an IAS officer and help her country. Meanwhile, Ajumma tells Bhavani she misses Harini and Veenu and wants to visit them. Bhavani says she can go and walks away, forgetting that tomorrow is Savi’s birthday.
Bhavani looks at photos of Virat and Sai and realizes that Ajumma is pretending to forget Savi’s birthday so she can visit Savi secretly. Bhavani wants Ajumma to go and be with Savi on her birthday because Savi is part of their family, no matter what.
The next day, Savi goes to the Bhosle Institute and plants trees there, thinking of each of her family members. She plants a tree for Ishaan, too, hoping that he stays peaceful so her life can be easy. A dandelion lands on both Savi and Ishaan’s shoulders. Savi feels she’s not ready to marry yet. Ishaan also brushes the dandelion off.
Surekha hears from Yashwant that a lawyer will open their father’s will after 25 years. Yashwant thinks he should tell Shantanu and Nishikanth about it, but Surekha suggests he find out what’s in the will first and then decide how much to say to them. Yashwant listens to Surekha and chooses not to tell the others just yet.
Savi meets Shukla and asks for his blessings. Shukla guesses it’s her birthday, and she’s surprised he knows. She asks him how long the cultural event will last, and Shukla thinks it should be about 1 or 2 hours. Hearing this, Savi decides to surprise Harini after the event. Ishaan hears this conversation.
Savi calls Ajumma and ends up video-calling her. But Ajumma hangs up and calls back normally, blaming a bad connection. Savi asks for Ajumma’s blessings, and she happily gives them. Ishaan thinks about how to get Savi to her surprise birthday party. He remembers how much Savi loves her Ganesh idol and plans to use it to lure her to the party.
Precap: Ishaan, at the cultural event, tells Savi to fetch the Ganesh idol because they need it for a worship ceremony. When Savi goes to her room, she finds the idol gone. There’s a note saying she must go somewhere to find her idol. So, Savi goes on a little adventure, like a treasure hunt, to find it. In the end, she meets Harini and Isha and feels very happy.
