BhagyaLakshmi 14th May 2023 Written Update: The episode begins with Shalu telling Lakshmi that Rishi argued with Vikrant because of her. Lakshmi urges Shalu to stop comparing Vikrant and Rishi, emphasizing that they are entirely different. Shalu tries to explain, but Lakshmi interrupts and reminds her that Rishi and Malishka are getting married, while Lakshmi and Vikrant are also engaged. Lakshmi asks Shalu not to conspire against their relationship.
Ayush asks Bani about the whereabouts of Rano and Neha. Bani informs him that they have already left. Ayush feels relieved upon hearing this, as they always bother him. Anjana asks Neelam if her plans for a pilgrimage were canceled. Neelam remembers the words of the Pandit and decides to keep Rishi away from Lakshmi. Virendra confirms that the project was indeed canceled.
Lakshmi comes downstairs and joins everyone. Saloni requests Neelam to let Lakshmi and Vikrant celebrate the day together. Neelam agrees to the request. Vikrant asks Rishi if everything is alright. Rishi apologizes to Vikrant and asks him to forget about the past incident. Vikrant insists that Rishi accompanies them to witness how well he cares for Lakshmi. Malishka mentions to Vikrant that she and Rishi have already planned something.
In his room, Rishi wonders why all these incidents keep happening to Lakshmi and questions why she is always in danger. Neelam thanks Malishka for making plans with Rishi and keeping him away from Lakshmi. Malishka informs Neelam about a restaurant’s silver jubilee celebration, where they are hosting a competition for the best couple award. Malishka expresses her desire to win it with Rishi, and Neelam agrees. Malishka then leaves.
Karishma reassures Neelam not to worry, reminding her that today is not one of those days when Lakshmi is in danger. However, Neelam reminds Karishma of the recent incident where Lakshmi was in trouble, and Rishi came to her rescue. Karishma advises Neelam not to fret, as Lakshmi will leave the house once she is married.
Malishka asks Rishi why he is not ready yet. Rishi says he is not in the mood to go out. Malishka questions if it’s because of Lakshmi’s pre-engagement ceremony. Rishi denies it, stating that it’s nothing like that. Malishka comments on Rishi’s behaviour and urges him to accompany her. Rishi finally agrees.

After the Malhotras arrive at the house, Saloni shares her suspicions with Anjana, reminding her of Rishi’s behavior and how he scolded Vikrant earlier. Saloni feels that Rishi and Lakshmi’s relationship is somewhat peculiar. Anjana remains silent, listening to Saloni’s observations.
Vikrant notices that Lakshmi is usually quiet and asks her about it. Lakshmi remains silent but eventually admits she doesn’t talk much. Vikrant reveals his surprise for her and asks Lakshmi to guess. This reminds Lakshmi of a similar situation when Rishi asks her to imagine his surprise. Rishi also used to play this guessing game with her. Lakshmi is unable to imagine Vikrant’s gift.
Lakshmi snaps out of her daydream as a Gajra seller approaches Vikrant’s car window to return the change. Vikrant tells the woman to offer it to God. She agrees and leaves. Vikrant hints that Lakshmi might have guessed it by now and reveals that it is a Gajra, just like Rishi had surprised her. Lakshmi’s mind races back to when Rishi helped her put on the Gajra. Now, in the car with Vikrant, she struggles to adorn it in her hair. Sensing her difficulty, Vikrant kindly offers to help her.
