Anupama 17th May 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Anupama tells Bhairvi they were late because they took too long to change. Bhairvi mentions that Malti gave her a harsh punishment. Anupama remarks that it’s a form of teacher’s love when they punish. She asks Bhairvi to walk faster. Anupama can’t help but think that Anuj will be impressed.
She had tried to avoid thoughts of Anuj all day, but now she had to face him. The Shahs warmly welcome Meenu and Dolly. Leela comments that Meenu has grown up, to which Meena suggests that ladies’ age should not be discussed. She wonders how Leela would feel if told she’s getting older. Dolly corrects Meenu’s statement, and Leela assures her that no offense was taken. Leela then looks for Anupama.
Vanraj advises Samar not to work as it’s his wedding day. Hasmukh explains that in India, grooms have to work too. Vanraj shares an incident from his wedding. Suddenly, Kavya enters the house, leaving Vanraj stunned. Leela expresses her surprise that Kavya came, as she had thought otherwise. Kavya explains that she promised Samar to attend the wedding and greets the Shahs.
Anupama becomes restless, thinking about Anuj. Bhairvi joins Bhavesh and Kanta. Anupama catches sight of Anuj. Meanwhile, Kavya and Vanraj engage in conversation. Kavya asks about Vanraj’s health, and he shares his heart attack experience. Kavya reveals that she learned about it from Samar. She adds that Leela believes Vanraj had a heart attack because of her. However, Vanraj assures Kavya that it’s not true. He then tells her that she has looked radiant since their separation.

Vanraj mentions that he has seen Kavya’s advertisements and thanks her for taking time out of her busy schedule to attend Samar’s wedding. Kavya deflects the conversation about her career, which raises Vanraj’s suspicions. He asks her if she’s hiding something, but Kavya avoids the question. She worries about how Anupama will handle Anuj’s presence. Anuj kindly helps Anupama put on her sandal, leaving them both surprised. Leela inquires about Anupama from Kanta.
Bhairvi mentions that Anupama came along but might have stopped to buy something. Samar informs the Shahs that Dimple will be arriving soon. Vanraj is stunned when he sees Anuj and Anupama together and silently wishes for someone to interrupt their moment. Anu calls out to Anuj, and Anupama converses with her, expressing how much she misses her. Anu gives Anupama a meaningful look, leaving Anupama startled. Maya then appears, surprising Anupama.
Dimple, Barkha, Ankush, Pakhi, and Adhik arrive, joining Anupama. Anupama is stunned as Anu deliberately avoids her and goes off with Maya and Anuj. Anu casually asks Vanraj how he’s doing while Anuj expresses concern for Vanraj’s health. Vanraj dismisses Anuj’s worry, urging him to focus on himself as he appears unwell.
Anuj insists that Vanraj shouldn’t worry about him, to which Vanraj responds, revealing that he’s concerned about someone else. Leela suggests calling Anupama to begin the ceremony. The Shah and Kapadia families are shocked to see Anuj accompanied by Maya and Anu. Anuj warmly greets Hasmuk and Leela, but Kanta chooses to ignore him. Finally, Anuj embraces Ankush.
