Anupama 16th May 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Pakhi questions why Anuj is coming, to which Paritosh responds by asking who invited him. Kinjal wonders how he found out about the wedding, and Dimple explains that she informed Anuj, and he willingly agreed to contribute to the wedding expenses. She adds that Anuj also suggested having half of the functions at Kapadia Mansion. Vanraj skeptically asks if they are joking, while Pakhi dismisses Anuj’s return as nonsense.
Paritosh expresses his disbelief at Anuj’s return, and Samar emphasizes that the wedding cannot occur without Anuj. Dimple is questioned about why she called Anuj, and she clarifies that she informed him, and he agreed to come. Leela suspects Dimple of lying, while Anupama believes that just as Anuj decided not to return, she will not stop herself this time for anyone and decides to focus on herself.
One month later:
Samar asks Pakhi and Paritosh how they can settle for the couple name “Sample” and suggests bringing in some creativity. Kinjal supports Pakhi and Paritosh, and Samar playfully asks if she is teasing him. Kinjal, Paritosh, and Pakhi tease Samar in return, which irritates him.
Anupama arrives at Gurukul, and Malti Devi asks her if Samar’s wedding is more important than her commitment to dance at Malti’s place. Malti punishes Anupama by hitting her with a stick for being late for the second time and suggests canceling Anupama’s contract. Anupama apologizes to Malti (it was Anupama’s dream).
Back to reality, Anupama wakes Bhairvi and urges her to get ready before they arrive late. She rushes through her preparations. Samar calls Anupama and asks her to talk to Pakhi, Paritosh, and Kinjal about choosing a couple’s name. Anupama laughs, and Samar wonders if she is involved in their playful banter. Anupama asks Samar not to get irritated, and he invites her to the viewers. The wedding functions will start after that. Anupama assures him that she remembers and will be there.
Anupama contemplates that Anuj will also be present at the adoration. Kanta observes Anupama while Leela helps Samar with his decorations. The Shah family worries about Anuj’s return, and Vanraj notices how Anupama becomes upset whenever Anuj’s name is mentioned. He silently hopes that Anuj doesn’t come back. Anupama arrives late at Gurukul, and Malti instructs her to stand on one foot as a punishment for being three minutes late. Anupama accepts the punishment.

Dimple and Ankush mention that Anuj is staying at a hotel, and Ankush plans to bring him to the house. Barkha suggests Anuj won’t come to Kapadia Mansion since Anupama is absent. Adhik questions why Ankush is trying to get Anuj back, and Ankush explains that as Anuj’s elder brother, it’s his responsibility. He also mentions that he hasn’t informed Anuj about the losses the company is facing due to Adhik and Barkha.
Paritosh shares his thoughts with Kinjal and questions why Anuj is returning. He asks Kinjal for her opinion on their previous conversation, to which Kinjal replies that she’s not in favor of it. Malti confronts Anupama for being late again, and Anupama discusses Samar’s wedding. Malti warns her that she will cancel the contract if Anupama is late. Anupama invites Malti to Samar’s Wedding.
