Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th September 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Swarna gets upset when she sees Abhira at the house. She asks Manish why he brought Abhira there. Manish tells Surekha to take Abhira to her room. Swarna keeps asking about Abhira, but Manish explains that Abhira is going through a difficult time and she shouldn’t be questioned. Ruhi gets angry at Manish for bringing Abhira to the Goenka house. She believes Abhira and Arman’s wedding would have been cancelled if Manish hadn’t stepped in.

Ruhi decides to support Arman, hoping he will move on from Abhira. Abhira misses Akshara and feels emotional because she can’t become a mother. She asks Akshara to come back. Manish feels sad for Abhira. Arman thinks of calling Abhira, but he remembers that she can’t have children. Manish promises Akshara that he won’t abandon Abhira. He regrets pushing Akshara out of the house and wants to ease Abhira’s pain because of his guilt. He decides to stay by Abhira’s side.

Kiara asks Kaveri if she would have made the same decision if something like this had happened to Abhira or Charu. Aryan and Krish ask Kaveri to understand Abhira’s situation. Kaveri feels bad for scolding Abhira. Kiara says a girl has other vital things in life. Kaveri says no family will support a girl with a disability. Madhav agrees with Kaveri. Manisha asks Madhav why he is changing his mind.

Madhav says he knows the Poddar family and adds that if Abhira doesn’t refuse to marry Arman, the Poddars will taunt her forever. Sanjay and Manisha argue as well. Vidya says she feels sorry for Abhira but can’t ignore Arman’s pain. She says Arman has to choose between his mother and Abhira. Kaveri tells Arman to decide and reminds him that Abhira won’t bring him happiness.

Abhira decides to talk to Arman about their wedding. Arman tells the Poddars that Abhira has refused to marry him. He asks Kaveri and Vidya if they are happy with Abhira’s decision. Kaveri gets angry at Arman for blaming her. Manisha feels sorry for Abhira and tries to defend her. Vidya remains firm on separating Arman and Abhira. Ruhi is happy to hear that Abhira refused to marry Arman.
