Yeh Hai Chahatein 8th September 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Nitya calls a contract killer, Kailash, and asks him to kill Meera. She tells him to enter the house as a plumber and sends him Meera’s photo. Kailash introduces himself as the plumber and enters the house. He tries to kill Meera, but Kaashvi saves her just in time. Meera asks Kaashvi how she knew she was in danger. Kaashvi remembers overhearing Nitya’s conversation with Kailash. She attacks Kailash and knocks him out. Kaashvi then tells Meera that she is now safe.

Meera feels guilty for being selfish but can’t tell anyone about her feelings for Arjun. She thanks Kaashvi for saving her and asks about Kailash. Meera says she has no enemies. Kaashvi reveals that Nitya sent Kailash. She also shares that she saw Nitya mixing powder in Meera’s kheer but didn’t say anything earlier because she had no proof. Today, she followed Nitya and found out about her plan.

Meera tells Kaashvi that although she came between her and Arjun, Kaashvi still saved her. Kaashvi asks her to forget the past. Meera decides to reunite Kaashvi and Arjun. Kaashvi calls the police and tells Meera not to tell anyone about Nitya because they have no proof. Later, Nitya comes to the house and is shocked to see Meera alive. The police inspector splashes water on Kailash, and he regains consciousness.

Nitya hopes that Kailash won’t mention her name. The inspector asks Kailash why he tried to kill Meera and beats him, but Kailash stays silent. The inspector takes Kailash away. Kaashvi tells Meera to be careful and leaves. Meera thinks that she needs to find out why Karun hates Kaashvi. After some time, Meera asks Karun why he hates Kaashvi. Karun explains that Kaashvi tried to separate him from Arjun, which is why he dislikes her.

Meera asks him if he’s sure Kaashvi said those things to Nitya, and he nods. He says he doesn’t want to talk about Kaashvi anymore. Meera tries to calm him down but thinks Kaashvi wouldn’t have done that. The next day, Nitya asks Mahima for a favour. She wants Mahima to help get Kailash released. Mahima realizes that Nitya hired Kailash to attack Meera and teases her.

Nitya tells Mahima to use Mahendra’s name to help Kailash, but Mahima says it won’t be easy. Romila sees them talking and leaves quietly. Mahima refuses to help Nitya, but Nitya threatens to tell Mahendra everything if she doesn’t. Mahima finally agrees to help. Meanwhile, Meera talks to Dadi and tells her why Karun hates Kaashvi. Dadi says something doesn’t feel right.
