Yeh Hai Chahatein 6th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Arjun lying to Kaashvi, saying he and Meera love each other, so they got married. Kaashvi asks Arjun why he said he wanted to live with her. He tells her he tried but couldn’t. She says he betrayed her again and that she was foolish to trust him. She says she is glad she saw his true colours before going to Delhi and sarcastically congratulates him on his marriage.

Kaashvi warns Arjun that Meera might betray him. Arjun says he is okay with that and accuses Kaashvi of betraying him by marrying Aditya. He tells her to move on with her life and goes inside. Kaashvi tells herself she hates Arjun and that he doesn’t deserve her love. She cries. Arjun asks Meera to eat something. Meera says she doesn’t want his sympathy and that not everything is fine between them. She says Kaashvi hates her, too.

Arjun says no one did anything wrong. Meera says marrying her was a mistake and accuses Arjun of taking advantage of Mohan’s death. She tells him to stop pretending and leave. Karun overhears and runs away. Arjun sees Karun and goes to him. Karun asks if Arjun married Meera because of him. Arjun says Meera needed support, so he married her. Karun feels guilty and cries. Arjun says it was an accident and that he married Meera because she is his friend.

Karun wonders why Meera spoke rudely to Arjun. Arjun explains that Meera is upset and asks Karun not to discuss it. He reassures Karun that he didn’t marry Meera for his sake. Nitya tells the Bajwa family the next day that she invited society ladies to Meera’s muh dikayi (a ceremony). Meera asks Nitya why it’s necessary. Nitya insists it’s a small ritual. Jagadish and Arjun leave. Meera offers Karun some poha (a dish).

Nitya claims she knows what Karun likes and gives him many chocolates. She tells Meera to get ready later. Meera asks Nitya not to give Karun too many chocolates because they are not good for him. Nitya says she knows what is good for Karun. Meera asserts that she is Karun’s mother and will care for him.

She tells Nitya not to make decisions about Karun without her permission. Ronak informs Kaashvi that they have caught Nagesh and need his confession. He says Nagesh is in the hospital. Kaashvi says she will finish this task before going to Delhi. Nitya invites Kaashvi’s family to Meera’s muh dikayi.
