Kaashvi explains that her marriage to Aditya is not real. Arjun is happy to hear this and suggests they can be together. Kaashvi mentions that since everyone thinks she and Aditya are a couple, Aditya will need to divorce her publicly, then she can be with Arjun.

The next day, Ronak gives Arjun his first case, saying it is crucial for every civil service officer. Kaashvi briefs Arjun about the case, explaining that they never had details on the drug dealer Kamaal, but now Kamaal is in Faridabad for his sister’s wedding.

Arjun tells Ronak he will arrest Kamaal. Kaashvi offers to help, but Arjun wants to handle it alone to prove himself. He asks if she trusts him, and she nods. He promises to make her proud and leaves. Kaashvi asks Aditya why he is at the office instead of resting. Aditya says he was bored at home and wanted to check some files. He asks if she talked to Arjun last night.
She confirms she confessed her feelings to Arjun and told him about her fake marriage. Aditya promises to find her child and reassures her he is her best friend. He mentioned he must go to the hospital for a check-up and leave. He plans to delete hospital records that could prove Kaashvi is Karun’s mother.
Arjun meets the hotel manager and informs him about the drug deal. The manager insists only a wedding is happening at the hotel. Arjun threatens the manager to cooperate and gets the hotel map from him. Mahima meets Romila at the hospital and tells her about Arjun and Kaashvi. She is confused about what to do next. Aditya gets permission to check the record room and hides from Mahima, worried she might see him walking well. Mahima enters the room and tells Romila to return home soon. She also tells Romila that Kaashvi should not discover that Karun is her son. Romila regrets what they did to Kaashvi. Aditya overhears their conversation and realizes he can use this information against Kaashvi and Arjun. He decides to use Mahima as his pawn.
