Yeh Hai Chahatein 18th September 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, the police arrest Pradyumna. Arjun tells him that the law will punish him. Kaashvi says to Pradyumna that he can’t hurt anyone anymore. Pradyumna replies that she is wrong. He gives a pen drive to the police inspector and says that Karun killed someone. The police inspector watches the video. Kaashvi tells the police that it was an accident, but the police inspector says he has to arrest Karun. The police take both Pradyumna and Karun away.

Later, the police inspector tells Kaashvi that Karun caused Mohan’s accident, so he can’t help her. Kaashvi begs him not to send Karun to jail. He tells her that he has already called the juvenile home officers. Karun pleads with Kaashvi to save him, just like she always does. He hugs her. Meera assures Karun that his parents will save him, and then she takes him away. Kaashvi starts crying. Arjun comforts her, saying they won’t let Karun go to jail.

He promises that they will talk to the juvenile home officers and tells her not to lose hope. Later, the officers watch the video. Arjun explains that it wasn’t murder. The officer says they will decide in two days and takes Karun away. Arjun tells Kaashvi that they will hire the best lawyer. Two days later, Kaashvi asks the lawyer to save Karun. The lawyer assures her that he will do his best. Karun arrives and hugs Kaashvi. She tells him not to cry.

Arjun reassures Karun that they will bring him home today. The officer takes Karun back inside. The lawyer tells Kaashvi that the judge will make the final decision. Arjun encourages Kaashvi, saying the judge will understand their side. Kaashvi notices that Meera hasn’t arrived yet, and they head inside the court. Karun’s lawyer defends him in court. The prosecutor argues that Karun is not an innocent child and calls teachers and the principal to testify against him.

The judge says that Karun should stay in the juvenile home. Then, Karun’s lawyer calls Meera to testify. Meera tells the judge that Karun didn’t cause Mohan’s death. She reveals that Mohan died because of an electric shock from a short circuit. She insists that Karun is innocent, and the judge releases him. Karun hugs Kaashvi and Arjun (the title song plays in the background).

Kaashvi and Arjun thank Meera. Meera reminds them that Karun is her son, too. She hands divorce papers to Arjun and tells him that she won’t change her mind. She also says that she will give birth to her baby in Delhi. Kaashvi hugs Meera. Meera advises Kaashvi and Arjun to stay together and then tells Karun to take care of himself before leaving.

Six months later, Meera is taking care of her baby. Vikram informs her that Kaashvi is in labour. Meanwhile, Kaashvi gives birth to a baby girl. The doctor congratulates Arjun and Kaashvi. The nurse hands the baby to Arjun (the title song plays in the background). Later, Karun enters and says the nurse allowed him inside only now. Arjun gives the baby to Karun, and Karun asks what the baby’s name is. Arjun says her name is Chahat. Kaashvi adds that Chahat symbolises her and Arjun’s love (Chahatein). Arjun hugs his family (the title song plays in the background).
