A truck driver and cleaner pass by and see the scene. A crowd gathers around them. Angad tells Garry to take Akir away, and Garry agrees. Angad asks Sahiba to give him the gun. Sahiba admits to Angad that she shot Daljeet.

Sahiba remembers that Daljeet was threatening her with a gun. She managed to take the gun from Daljeet and told him to stay away from Akir. Daljeet tried to grab the gun back, and in the struggle, Sahiba shot him. Daljeet fell onto the road, and the crowd saw the gun in Sahiba’s hand, assuming she killed him. They called the police. Angad took the gun from Sahiba and threw it away.

The police arrived at the scene. The crowd told the police that Sahiba killed Daljeet, so they took her into custody. Angad tried to stop them, but the police did not listen. Sahiba asked Angad to take care of Akir and not to tell him what happened. Angad assured Sahiba that he would come to the police station soon.
Back at home, the Brar family tried to get Akir to eat something, but he was sad and asked Jabjyot about Daljeet. Jabjyot did not answer. Simran approached Akir and offered to be his friend, and Akir agreed. They left together. At the police station, Angad told the police that Sahiba did not kill Daljeet, claiming he did it instead. The lady inspector did not believe him, reminding Angad that many witnesses said Sahiba was guilty. Angad argued that Sahiba was innocent.
The inspector made a harsh comment about Sahiba’s character, saying she killed Daljeet after using him. Angad got angry and defended Sahiba. Sahiba asked Angad to stop saying such things. Harneet remembered seeing Sahiba shoot Daljeet and hearing Daljeet call her mom. She worried that Sahiba saw her. Sahiba insisted to Angad that she killed Daljeet, but Angad refused to believe her.
