Garry then tells Daljeet to leave. Daljeet responds by saying he will reveal what Angad plans to do. Daljeet instructs his men to bring a Dori (thread). He announces to the Brar family that Angad will carry this Dori.

Daljeet says he wants their engagement to happen today. He assures Angad that everything is arranged and that Angad only needs to host the engagement. Angad and Sahiba refuse. Sahiba tells Daljeet that things won’t go his way and asks him to leave. Daljeet warns them that if they don’t meet his demands, he will disappear with Akir, making it impossible for them to find either of them.
Daljeet calls Akir and threatens to tell him that Angad is his birth father and that Angad threw Sahiba out when she was pregnant with Akir. Hearing this, Sahiba agrees to the engagement. Daljeet, satisfied, ends the call. Angad reluctantly agrees as well. Angad signals Sahiba to buy some time. Sahiba tells Daljeet that she needs time to prepare herself mentally and suggests having the engagement in the evening, according to the Brar family’s traditions. Daljeet agrees.
Daljeet also demands their phones, and although Angad protests, he eventually agrees. Sahiba drops her purse, and Daljeet picks it up, questioning her about its contents when he notices her nervousness. Sahiba brushes off his comments.
