He tells her they are not coming because they don’t like the marriage proposal and don’t want to see Vaiju. Kaveri wonders who will marry Vaiju now that all her proposals have failed.

Ayo Saheb tells Vasundhara that as the sarpanch, he should handle all matters, but his wife says she only cares because he is her husband. She reminds him of a past mistake, which irritates him. Vasundhara says she cannot forget it. Rannvijay drives, thinking about Jaya. Jaya believes Vaiju’s marriage will be fixed by now. Vaiju cries and gives back a charm bracelet Salim gave her.
Vaiju’s mother sits and cries over her actions while Vaiju goes to work in the fields. Some boys at college disturb and tease girls, including Vaiju’s sister. She threatens to complain. Rannvijay arrives, introduces himself, and fights off the boys, shocking Vaiju’s sister. Rannvijay returns a pen to Jaya and asks for her name. She refuses, thinking he will ask for her phone number next. Rannvijay insists he will find out her name. Just then, Kishore calls out to Jaya.
Rannvijay smiles, now knowing her name, and introduces himself as her friend. Jaya tells Kishore about the boys who teased her and how Rannvijay helped. Kishore invites Rannvijay to his birthday party. Rannvijay asks if Jaya will be there. Jaya scolds Kishore for inviting Rannvijay without knowing him well. Jaikant visits the fields where Vaiju is working. He introduces himself as Vasundhara’s nephew and the land owner around her one acre.
He says Vasundhara wants to buy her land, but Vaiju refuses to sell it and tells him to inform his aunt. The priest shows Vasundhara pictures of potential brides for Rannvijay, but she rejects them all. Vaiju says her land is her pride and will not be sold. Jaikant sets fire to the grains, but Vaiju doesn’t give up. The episode ends with Vasundhara saying she wants a girl connected to her roots, and the priest says Vaiju will be Vasundhara’s Annapurna.
