Jhanak 9th May 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Anirudha and Jhanak argue. They disagree and criticize each other’s opinions. Shristi is confused and doesn’t understand their conflict. Chhoton asks them to stop arguing and show basic respect to Jhanak. Although Anirudha brought Jhanak to Kolkata, he realizes he shouldn’t expect her to agree with everything he says. Vinayak also feels that Jhanak deserves respect, and Anirudha goes quiet.

Soon, the engagement ceremony starts, and the elders present the new bride with expensive jewellery. Shristi is amazed by the beautiful jewellery Arshi receives from the Bose family. Shubha, Tanuja, and Vipasha all gave jewelry gifts to Arshi. Although Appu is asked to bless Arshi, she feels left out and doesn’t like the new bride.

During the engagement, Shristi encourages Jhanak to dance. Jhanak hesitates to show off her talents in front of everyone but eventually agrees. She dances to the song “Man Mohona.” While dancing, she steps on a piece of glass and cuts her leg, but she continues to dance. Anirudha notices she’s bleeding and is concerned, but he’s told to ignore it, which makes him anxious.

After the ceremony, it’s Jhanak’s turn to bless the new bride. To everyone’s surprise, she gives Arshi an expensive diamond ring. Everyone is shocked and asks her where she got it. Jhanak explains that she withdrew all her money from the bank to buy the ring for Arshi, and she asks her to accept it on behalf of Urvashi. Arshi accepts the ring.

When the engagement photoshoot begins, Anirudha and Arshi pose romantically and upset Jhanak. She feels hurt but doesn’t express it. Chhoton sees Jhanak’s true feelings and reassures her that one day; she will have the strength to stand up against this unfair treatment.
