Jhanak 4th January 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, a doctor tells the Mukherjee family to look after Jhanak carefully, or she may get even more ill. He wants them to take good care of her. Anirudh is worried about Jhanak’s health. When he and Apu enter Jhanak’s room, they both become anxious. The doctor explains that Jhanak lacks many important things in her blood, so she needs to eat well and rest.
Later, Jhanak wakes up, making Apu happy. Shristi and Vinayak advise Arshi to end her relationship with Anirudh. Shristi blames Jhanak for all the trouble and thinks she is the cause of it. Arshi, who has been with Anirudh for many years, doesn’t want to break up with him over a maid. Everyone already knows about their engagement and wedding plans.
Shristi is worried about Arshi’s future. Vinayak says they shouldn’t blame Jhanak. Shristi tells him about Jhanak’s bad behaviour when she was drunk. Shristi wants to set the engagement date soon. Arshi insists they won’t delay the engagement. Shristi wants Jhanak to leave Kolkata forever.
Jhanak wakes up feeling very thirsty and drinks water. Badima, a family elder, insists that Jhanak should wear sindur on her forehead because she is married and should follow married life rules. She worries that if Jhanak doesn’t follow these traditions, they might face problems. Apu plays by himself while Jhanak is sick. Jhanak admits she is married, but Badima still insists she wears sindur.
Anirudh brings fruit for Jhanak, but she gives it to Apu instead. The elders suspect Jhanak is hiding something, but they don’t know Anirudh brought the fruit for her.
Precap: Badima will pressure Jhanak to redo her marriage rituals. Anirudh will be upset about this. Jhanak decides to leave the house at night, but she leaves a thank-you note for Anirudh before going.
