Anirudhha suddenly asks about Appu and Jhanak. When Arshi seems unsure, Anirudhha says they must watch Jhanak closely, or she might cause trouble. Anirudhha asks Chhoton to call Jhanak, but Chhoton doesn’t want to get involved and decides to leave. Shubha is upset by how the other two brothers act. Chhoton refuses to eat. Even though they ask him to eat, he doesn’t care. Anjana says they will all go their separate ways soon.
In Jhanak’s room, Appu tries to cheer up Jhanak with kind words, but she is still upset by Anirudhha’s harsh words. Appu asks to see a photo of Jhanak’s husband, but she doesn’t want to talk about it. Appu is sad about how Anirudhha’s actions hurt Jhanak and make her feel bad for her parents because they are insulted by the family. Anirudhha wants Jhanak to work as a maid, but Arshi suggests paying her so they can keep an eye on her. Rimi goes to call Jhanak.
