Jhanak 1st December 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Jhanak struggles to accept that her mother, Urvashi, has passed away. Urvashi took her own life because she was very sad and felt insulted. Jhanak cries a lot when she sees her mother’s body. She begs the doctor to bring her mother back to life. Seeing how upset she is, Anirudh tries to comfort her and asks her to calm down. Jhanak is so sad that she cries over her mother’s body and remembers the happy times they had.
Meanwhile, Bharat and his family are worried when they hear about the death. Bharat is upset because the police might get involved. He quickly makes a plan to have Tejas marry Jhanak right away. They fear a police case, but Bharat thinks Tejas can handle it. Bharat calls Tejas and tells him everything. In Kolkata, Arshi is worried because she can’t reach her fiancé.
Soon, the police arrive. The neighbours get upset and want the police to find out what happened. Tejas shows up and talks to the police officer. He is surprised to see Anirudh there and asks why he is there. Tejas threatens Anirudh and tells him to leave. Jhanak gets angry at Tejas, blaming him for her mother’s death, but Tejas doesn’t care and tells the police to finish their work fast.
Jhanak gets even angrier when she hears Tejas wants to send her to a government home. She worries about what will happen to her. Tejas tells the police to take her mother’s body to the crematorium. At the crematorium, Jhanak is heartbroken that she is losing her mother and cries a lot. Tejas later tells Bharat that Anirudh supports Jhanak and invites Bharat to their wedding tonight.
Anirudh discovers that Tejas is horrible and doesn’t want Jhanak to be with him. He is asked to take Jhanak to Kolkata for her safety. Jhanak then does the last rites for her mother, Urvashi.
Precap: Anirudh will try to get Jhanak to eat, but she refuses because she is unfortunate. Anirudh also won’t eat until Jhanak eats.
