Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 8th March 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Surekha is praying to God, and then she goes to Yashwant to wish him a happy anniversary. She asks him for the flower garland he usually gets for her. Yashwant doesn’t respond and leaves for work. Surekha feels sad because Yashwant seems very upset with her. Savi sees all this and plans to help fix their relationship by talking to Ishaan.
At college, Savi goes to Ishaan’s room to talk about Yashwant and Surekha. Ishaan doesn’t want to talk. Reeva enters and decides to wait outside, but Ishaan asks her to stay. Savi tries to give Reeva some bangles, saying they are hers, but Reeva thinks they should be Savi’s. Savi insists and leaves. Reeva tells Ishaan that it’s Surekha and Yashwant’s anniversary, and they forgot. They decide to plan something for the anniversary.
Yashwant comes home and is surprised to find the lights off. He asks Surekha about it, but she is also unsure. Suddenly, they find a picture from their engagement, and the family surprises them, wishing them a happy 35th anniversary. The family asks if they can start the party, and after Yashwant gives his blessing, he presents Surekha with the flower garland, and they start celebrating.
Savi suggests to the family that they should perform a Ganesh installation ceremony. Surekha tells Savi to be quiet but admits it’s a good idea, mentioning it would have been helpful during Ishaan’s wedding. Ishaan agrees to arrange for a special Ganesh statue.
Ishaan and Reeva tried to find the specific Ganesh statue but couldn’t find it. Reeva looks for it while Savi wonders where to find one. The next day, Reeva tells Swati and Swanand she’ll be late because she’s planning the anniversary. Swati recommends an event planner friend to help. Reeva is grateful and leaves.
Swanand questions Swati’s encouragement, but she explains she wants her daughter to be happy and hints at changes in Savi and Ishaan’s relationship once Harini recovers. Savi, feeling uncomfortable, tells Ishaan she can’t come to college for personal reasons, and he understands.
