Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 26th December 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Reeva asks Ishaan to drink some juice. Ishaan says thank you to Reeva. Anvi tells Ishaan that Surekha is feeling a bit better and they can visit her now. Ishaan goes to the doctor to ask if they can see Surekha. The doctor agrees and wants to know who Reeva is because Surekha wants to meet her first. Reeva then goes to see Surekha.
Surekha questions Reeva about why she saved her. Reeva tells Surekha that anyone in her place would have done the same. Surekha mentions that others might have saved her, but they wouldn’t understand her pain. She wonders why Reeva is different. Reeva explains she did it so Ishaan wouldn’t lose his mother again. She says if Ishaan lost his mother, he would be very upset. Surekha asks if Reeva loves Ishaan a lot. Reeva replies she’s not sure how much she loves Ishaan.
Surekha then asks Reeva why she left Ishaan during their engagement. Ishaan explains it’s because Swati threatened to hurt herself if Reeva didn’t go to London. Surekha asks why Reeva didn’t call Ishaan to tell him she was leaving for London. Reeva asks Ishaan how she could tell him she’s breaking her promise. Reeva apologises to Surekha and Ishaan for her past actions and the play. Surekha understands that Savi was behind the play, not Reeva.
Savi asks Ninad who is on the phone. Ninad thanks Ishaan for sending a saree to Savi. Ishaan says he didn’t send any saree. Ninad invites Ishaan to a celebration, but Ishaan says he’s busy. Savi says goodbye and ends the call.
Ishaan brings soup to Surekha, but she ignores him. Reeva comes with soup, too. Ishaan says it’s not needed since he’s already brought soup. Reeva explains her soup is for Yashwant, who hasn’t eaten in 12 hours. Yashwant refuses to eat. Reeva begs Surekha to eat so everyone else will eat, too. Surekha drinks the soup, and Yashwant jokes about it.
Reeva leaves, and Ishaan asks how she managed it. Reeva says Surekha is a mother who cares about her family. She says Surekha drank the soup so the rest of the family would eat. Reeva offers food to each family member as they like. Ashwin tells Savi about a note found in the saree. The note says the saree is for Savi’s wedding and more will come soon. Savi’s family discusses what the note means.
Precap: Ishaan honors Savi at her celebration. Harini sees Ishaan and Savi together and tells Bhavani they look like a good couple. Harini wonders if they will become a good pair. Reeva calls Savi to tell her that her marriage is arranged and asks Savi to attend. Savi agrees to come.
