Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 20th April 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Shikha asks Chinmay why he’s upset with her because of something his parents did to him. Chinmay doesn’t reply and walks away. Savi decides she will figure out what’s going on with Chinmay. Savi sees a girl hugging Chinmay. The girl is crying. When the girl’s dad tries to take her away, Chinmay gets into a fight with him because the dad is trying to sell her.
After the dad leaves, Chinmay tells the girl he will give her money for her college fees. Seeing this, Savi wonders about the kind of person Chinmay is, as he helps a stranger so much but seems so cold to his own family. Reeva tells Ishaan it’s funny she couldn’t be his wife even in a play. They then change the subject to talk about how strangely Savi is acting.
Yashwant is drinking alone, upset about what’s happening. He asks Nishikanth to show him what others are saying about him in a group chat. They listen to a voice message where people criticize Yashwant because his son, Chinmay, is hurting the reputation of their family institute. Yashwant agrees with them and blames Surekha for bringing Chinmay into their home, which led to all these problems.
Ishaan apologizes to Shikha for Chinmay’s actions and suggests she might want to consider leaving Chinmay. Savi disagrees and tells Ishaan that Shikha should fight for her marriage. Savi insists it should be Shikha’s choice, without pressure from anyone else. Surekha blames Savi for the family’s unhappiness since Chinmay came into their lives, telling Savi she’s brought trouble upon herself.
Surekha leaves, and Ishaan tells Savi this happens when you get too involved in other people’s business. Savi feels bad, wondering if she’s causing problems. Shikha tells her she’s a good person but is overwhelmed with her troubles to stand up for herself or Savi. Savi remembers seeing a brochure for a land deal in Chinmay’s bag. She finds out Chinmay is planning to build a school.
She tries to share this with Ishaan, but he tells her to stay away from his family matters. They see Chinmay coming home drunk, and Ishaan wishes Chinmay would just leave. Surekha asks Chinmay to go to the temple with her and Shikha for a prayer ceremony the next morning. Chinmay refuses, saying his relationship with Shikha is over. Hearing this, Shikha says she won’t go either.
