Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 16th November 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Surekha and Nishikanth tell Harini that she is still learning to sing and is not famous. Harini understands their point. Surekha is glad she does. Samrud tells his parents to be cautious until his engagement ceremony is complete. Mandar and his wife agree. Harini means Surekha she will go, but Surekha insists she takes payment for singing. Surekha gives Harini an envelope, saying it’s what she deserves.
Harini finds only a coin in the envelope. Surekha hopes Harini becomes successful so she won’t fall behind Ishaan. She tells Harini she won’t be invited to sing again. Savi arrives and says it’s time to go. Surekha praises Savi’s hosting and tries to give her money, but Savi refuses and scolds Surekha. Savi and Harini start to leave. Asmita asks Savi to stay until the engagement ends. Nishi takes Asmita to greet the groom’s family. Savi leads Harini away. She sees Samrud and becomes suspicious.
Ishaan and his family welcome Samarth and his family. Durva’s friends joke around. Harini recalls Surekha’s insult. Savi asks Harini if she saw the groom. Harini says no but knows his name is Samrud. Savi realizes he is Samrud Latkar. She tells the auto driver to return to the Bhosle’s house, but Harini says they don’t need to return and will learn about Samrud themselves. Savi wonders what Harini would do in Isha’s situation.
Ishaan asks Samrud to read a warning message. Everyone laughs as Durva and Sam exchange rings. Samrud proposes to Durva, who accepts. As Samrud is about to put the ring on Durva, Savi interrupts and slaps him. Everyone is shocked.
Durva and Surekha confront Savi for hitting Samrud. Savi says she would have hit him with a slipper if possible. Ishaan stops Surekha from hitting Savi and trusts Savi’s actions, asking her to explain why she hit Samrud. Surekha criticizes Ishaan for supporting Savi. Savi refuses to apologize, saying she would have if she were wrong. She reveals that her marriage was fixed with Samrud, but she ran away after learning he was a person with alcoholism and a bad person.
Surekha asks Samrud about his fixed marriage with Savi. Samrud admits it but denies being a cheat, accusing Savi of leaving him for someone else and calling her dishonourable. Harini defends Savi and exposes their actions. Ishaan asks for proof of Savi’s claims. Savi says Isha has a guarantee against Samrud and tries to call her, but Isha doesn’t answer.
Mandar, embarrassed, suggests they leave. Ishaan asks them to wait 10 minutes, promising to apologize to Sam and accept the marriage if Savi can’t prove her claim. Savi tries calling Isha again.
Precap: Ishaan tells Savi he’s going against his family for the first time to support her and hopes her claim is valid, as their family’s reputation is at stake. Savi questions what if her accusations are true. Ishaan responds that his life will belong to her. Nishikanth, tired of the drama, throws Savi out. Ishaan helps Savi and confronts Nishikanth about his actions.
