The next day, Shukla reads the newspaper and complains to Savi that the paper only gave a small apology to the Bhosle family instead of a front-page apology. Ishaan then approaches Savi.
Thinking Ishaan is there to apologize, Shukla and Sandhya leave them alone. Ishaan hands Savi the divorce papers, stating it’s what she wanted. He tells her to sign them and inform him about the alimony she expects before he walks away. Savi, heartbroken, tries to sign the papers, but the pen doesn’t work, so she throws it away. Meanwhile, Nishikanth notices Ishaan struggling to open his cabin.
Nishikanth tells Ishaan they must prepare as Surya Prakash is coming for a lecture, and Ishaan agrees. Surekha excitedly tells Swati that Ishaan is divorcing Savi today and plans to make the day special for Reeva. Swati agrees. When Surya Prakash arrives at Savi’s tea stall, he finds Savi studying for her IAS exams. Shukla welcomes him in. Nearby, Yashwant and Nishikanth eagerly anticipate inviting Surya Prakash. Savi is thrilled to see him at her stall.
