A source close to the production team confirmed the news. He said, “At first, the show’s second season did very well, but it hasn’t been doing great in the past few weeks.
The makers tried introducing many twists, including a new character, Ayush Anand. They have decided to take a 10-year leap and bring in a new lead male actor.” A few months ago, the tracks of Mansi Salvi and Indraneel Bhattacharya were also suddenly ended because the makers thought their roles were no longer needed.
The source added, “Viewers wanted to see Ishaan and Savi‘s characters get closer, but that didn’t happen. Also, all actors’ contracts will end this year, so it was a good time to introduce a new family and new cast.”
Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein started in 2020 with Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh in lead roles. The second season began in May 2023, featuring Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma, and Sumit Singh. Recently, Ayush Anand joined the show. The current story focuses on Savi, who opened a tea stall before the college campus and divorced Ishaan. Ishaan is now back with Reeva, and they plan to get married. Savi is heartbroken but agrees to the divorce.
