Born and raised in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Divyanka received her education at Carmel Convent School, Bhopal, where she completed her high school and intermediate examinations with excellence.

During her student years, Divyanka was the winner of “Miss Beautiful Skin” in the Zee TV-organized “Miss Teen” competition in 2003 as well as “Miss Bhopal” in 2004. She began her acting career with the Doordarshan TV series and got her breakthrough in the TV serial Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, where she portrayed a dual role and played Vidya with great success.
Since 2013, Divyanka has played the lead role of Ishita Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The actress participated in Nach Baliye 8 with her husband, Vivek Dahiya, and won the winner’s trophy and cash prize in 2017. Divyanka made her feature film debut in 2012 with Lala Hardaul and has appeared in various commercials and photoshoots as well. In 2016, she got married to Vivek Dahiya, and the couple resides in Mumbai now.
