Chashni 20th May 2023 Written Episode Update: The story begins with Chandni asking Raunaq about his sister’s passing. Raunaq gets upset and questions whether Chandni wants to cause him pain. Chandni suggests that maybe Raunaq misunderstood something about her death, similar to how he misunderstood Sumer’s situation. She asks Raunaq to look into her eyes and ask if he thinks she’s guilty, begging him to believe she didn’t harm his sister. Memories of his sister’s cries and her claims that Chandni trapped her flood Raunaq’s mind. He scolds Chandni harshly and tells her to go to bed. This saddens Chandni.
After Raunaq falls asleep, Chandni sits by his side and eventually falls asleep there. Raunaq wakes up to find Chandni asleep, holding his hand, and murmuring in her sleep. He gently tries to wake her up, placing a pillow under her head and helping her sleep comfortably on the bed. He reflects on her words about misunderstanding the circumstances of his sister’s death. He wonders why he feels positive each time he sees her, reminding himself that his sister, Avantika, mentioned Chandni and that he can’t trust her. Chandni wakes up cheerfully and greets Raunaq good morning, but he responds that nothing is good.
Chashni 20th May 2023 Written Episode Update
Vandana tries to chat with Sanjot, but Sanjot mocks her for living with her daughter’s in-laws. Nisha enters and tells Sanjot she couldn’t sleep last night. Sanjot asks if she is studying, which irritates Nisha. Vandana later attempts to talk to Nisha and tries to understand why she seems unhappy. Vandana offers to share a secret if Nisha will do the same, revealing that she secretly enjoys sweets. Nisha feels she can’t explain her feelings to her grandmother. She tells her that if she has any secrets, she’ll share them later.

Chandni asks Raunaq if he wants tea when she makes some. She playfully asks if he’s taken his medicine. She tells Raunaq that she understands he dislikes her and that she has forced him into this marriage. She’s decided to give him the happiness he truly deserves. She talks about returning to Amritsar once they’ve told Sumer the truth. She will take the blame and convince Sumer. She doesn’t want to see Raunaq upset and wants him to live a happy life with his family.
Raunaq drinks alcohol and ponders over Chandni’s decision to leave the Babbar house. Chandni, in tears, packs her bags. Raunaq and Chandni reflect on their shared memories while a song called “Hoye Ishq Na” plays in the background. Chandni says it hurts to separate from Raunaq because she loves him despite everything. Raunaq is puzzled about why he feels upset despite always disliking Chandni. He always wanted her out of his life, but now he can’t bear the thought. The episode concludes with Raunaq uncertain how he’ll cope without Chandni and Chandni looking at a photo from their wedding.
