Anupama 6th December 2023 Written Update: In today’s episode, Leela is upset. She says she can’t bear to see what’s happening. Hasmuk and Dimple try to make her feel better. Anupama talks to Anu about her behaviour. Malti tells Anupama to be gentle with Anu. Anupama asks Malti to let her speak. Malti supports Anu. Anupama wants to know why Anu was mean to Riya. Malti wonders if Anupama doesn’t trust Anu. Anu doesn’t want to talk to Anupama. Anupama tells Anu to behave well. Anuj asks Anu to answer her mother. He knows what Anu did to Riya.
Romil and Nidhi discuss taking care of each other in the USA. Romil talks about missing his family. Anupama and Anuj ask Anu about her behaviour towards Riya. Anu says her friends won’t talk to her if she’s friends with Riya. Anupama tries to explain to Anu that she’s wrong. Anu is stubborn. She thinks Anupama is harsh because she’s adopted. Anu asks why Anupama doesn’t scold Pakhi. Anupama is shocked. Anu feels unloved.
Anupama and Anuj are shocked. Anupama thinks about Pakhi. Malti is angry with Anupama for scolding Anu. Anuj thinks Malti didn’t teach Anu properly. Anupama says she faced similar issues with Pakhi. She asks Malti to let her speak next time. Malti is shocked.
Vanraj tells Hasmuk, Leela, and Dimple about his new job. Kavya comes back to the Shah’s house. Anuj offers Anupama tea. Anupama is worried about Anu’s behaviour. She wonders if Anu is serious. Anuj wants to find out who’s influencing Anu.
Malti tells Anu she’s right and Anupama is wrong. She says Anu shouldn’t say sorry to Riya. Malti tells Anu that Anuj supports Anupama, so he reacts too. She suggests Anu wait for an apology from Anupama and Anuj.
Kavya tells the Shahs she’ll move soon. Vanraj says he didn’t ask Kavya to leave. Hasmuk points out Vanraj’s indirect role. Vanraj is shocked. Anupama asks Anu to have breakfast. Anu is rude to Anupama. Pakhi teases that Anu understands now. Ankush tells Pakhi to be quiet. Anuj and Anupama ask Anu to apologize to Riya. Anu looks at Malti.

Anupama 6th December 2023 Episode Review
There are emotional and heated moments in this episode, mostly about family relationships and misunderstandings. Leela’s distress sets the sad mood, and Anupama’s interactions with Anu show how hard it can be to parent and talk to each other in adoptive families. Fighting Anu and Riya and Anu thinking she is being treated differently because she is adopted gives the story more depth.
Romil and Nidhi’s conversation about life in the US and Vanraj’s announcement of his new job are also parts of a subplot that deals with change and transition.
