Devika points out that Shruti’s actions were immature. Anuj breaks off his engagement with Shruti because she hurt Anupama. Anupama, however, asks him to reconsider for the sake of Aadya. Anuj remains firm in his decision, while Devika supports Anuj.
Anupama scolds Devika for interfering. Aadya pleads with Anuj not to break the engagement, but Anuj comforts Anupama instead. Vanraj accuses Anuj of always wanting to end the engagement with Shruti and still having feelings for Anupama.
