Anupama 22nd January 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Kinjal gives her phone number to Anupama and asks her to call. Anupama promises to do so and bless Kinjal and her child, Pari. Kinjal tells Anupama to look after herself. Anupama feels very sad when Kinjal goes away. Yashdeep gives Anupama water and asks about Kinjal and Pari. Anupama tells him her son doesn’t want to see her, but she’s grateful that Kinjal and Pari visited. Yashdeep feels sorry for Anupama.
Anuj is thinking about Anupama. He remembers a phone call from Devika. Shruti asks Anuj if he’s looking at the sky because he’s bored. Anuj says yes, but Shruti thinks he’s worried about something. Anuj doesn’t tell Shruti what’s bothering him. Shruti asks why he’s uneasy about Joshi. Shruti wonders why Anuj suddenly wants to know about Joshi. She’s worried that Anuj’s unease might cause trouble for her.
Anupama thinks of her son, Paritosh, and sees Aadya. She asks Aadya what she’s doing there. Aadya rudely asks Anupama why she can’t be there and when she’ll return to India. Anupama replies that fate brought her to the USA and will stay until she finds out why. Aadya thinks Anupama will never leave. Anupama asks why Aadya is angry with her, but Aadya leaves.
Ansh doesn’t want Ishani to join his school, but Ishani is interested. Mahi supports Ishani. Pakhi tells Ishani to play with Ansh and ignores Mahi, which upsets Kavya. Vanraj backs Pakhi, leaving Kavya shocked. Anupama smells something burning and feels worried. KD and Anupama both smell it and try to find the source. Suddenly, a fire starts in the restaurant, and they’re trapped. Anuj, feeling uneasy, says Anupama’s name in his sleep.
Aadya and Shruti rush to help Anuj. Anupama tries to escape the fire. In his sleep, Anuj says he won’t let anything happen to Anupama, which surprises Aadya and Shruti. Anupama faints. The fire brigade comes to help. Yashdeep looks for Anupama. Anuj apologises to Aadya and Shruti for worrying them and wonders if Anupama is safe. Aadya feels like something bad is happening to her house. Shruti asks what she means.
Aadya is worried because Anuj said Anupama’s name. Biji and Yashdeep help Anupama, who Yashdeep says has a good heart. Biji is worried about Anupama. Shruti wonders if Anupama is back in Anuj’s life.
Precap: Anuj and Shruti find out the restaurant is closed for now. Yashdeep and Biji ask Anupama to stay with them.

Anupama 22nd January 2024 Episode Review
The episode is very emotional and does an excellent job of showing how complicated family and romantic relationships can be. When Kinjal talks to Anupama, they give each other their contact information and send their best wishes. Anupama‘s sadness over Kinjal’s departure and Yashdeep’s worry about her give her character more depth and show how hard things are for her and how she makes others care.
With memories of Anupama and his mysterious conversation with Shruti woven into Anuj’s story, it builds suspense and hints at unresolved problems and inner conflicts. The scene with Aadya and Anupama in the restaurant adds to the tension between the characters by making us wonder how they have interacted in the past and how they will interact in the future.
The episode takes a dramatic turn when the fire starts, skillfully raising the stakes and danger. Anupama’s quick response to the emergency, even though it put her in danger, shows how brave and selfless she is. Even in his sleep, Anuj’s restless behaviour, which ends with him saying Anupama’s name, ties his fate to hers in an exciting way.
