Yeh Hai Chahatein 5th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Kaashvi tells Dadi that she knows about Arjun and Meera’s marriage. Dadi is shocked. She asks Kaashvi if she was there. Kaashvi says she arrived when Meera removed Arjun’s veil. She says Arjun married Meera without thinking about her, and she starts crying. She asks how Arjun could betray her like this. Dadi asks Kaashvi for any good news. Kaashvi remembers the doctor telling her she is pregnant but says it doesn’t matter now. She thinks Arjun has ruined everything.

In the hospital, Meera asks Vikram what he is doing there and why he told Arjun to marry her. She asks where Mohan is. The hospital staff brings in Mohan’s dead body. Meera sees Mohan’s mehendi hand and remembers applying it to him. She removes the cloth and is shocked to see Mohan. She recalls the moments she shared with him and asks Vikram what happened. Vikram says Mohan died from an electric shock. He also says Arjun knows she is pregnant.

Meera asks Arjun why he married her if he loves Kaashvi. Arjun remembers telling Vikram not to tell Meera he married her for Karun. He says he married her for the baby’s sake and that Kaashvi is leaving. He says he can’t stay with Kaashvi because of Karun. Meera is angry and says Mohan leaving doesn’t mean she should marry someone else. Vikram says being a single parent is not easy and that Arjun will be a good husband to her. He says she will understand his decision in the future.
Meera says she won’t accept this marriage and leaves. Dadi tells Kaashvi she understands her anger, but she should find out why Arjun married Meera. She asks Kaashvi to talk to Arjun. Arjun tells Meera he understands her and also Vikram’s decision. He says their marriage is just in name, and they will always be friends. Meera asks what he will tell Kaashvi. He says he can’t face her and knows she will be heartbroken and hate him after finding out.
He wants her to hate him so she can move on. He asks Meera not to tell Kaashvi the truth. She agrees. Later, Nitya performs Meera’s grah pravesh. Kaashvi arrives and takes Arjun aside. She asks him what is going on. Arjun says she was leaving anyway, so it shouldn’t matter. She says she wants to meet Mohan. Arjun tells her Mohan is dead and that Meera is more than a friend to him. She calls him a liar, but he insists he and Meera have feelings for each other.
