Yeh Hai Chahatein 26th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Arjun calls Nitya to inform her about Jagadish’s accident. He asks her not to tell Meera and Karun about it. He also tells her that he is going to Delhi to get Jagadish’s medicine and ends the call. Nitya decides to go to the hospital and leaves. Nitya and Romila both stop the same taxi and start arguing. Nitya pushes Romila and insults her. Romila gets angry and slaps Nitya. People around them laugh. Nitya angrily holds Romila’s hand tightly.

A police officer arrives. Nitya tells the officer that Romila slapped her for no reason. Romila explains that Nitya pushed her first. Nitya says she wants to file a complaint against Romila, claiming she is an ex-civil officer and Romila is dangerous. The police officer arrests Romila and takes her away. Meanwhile, a nurse asks Arjun if he has the medicine. Arjun tells her that he is on his way with it. He asks the ambulance driver to drive faster, but the driver stops and says the ambulance won’t start.

Arjun gets angry. Kaashvi suggests finding another vehicle to reach the hospital. Arjun tries to get a lift but fails. Kaashvi risks her life to stop a car and tells the driver that she is pregnant and feeling dizzy. The car owner assumes Kaashvi and Arjun are a couple and offers them a lift. At the police station, Dadi asks the officer why Romila was arrested. The officer tells her about Nitya’s complaint. Nitya arrives and requests the officer to send Romila to jail.
Dadi asks Nitya to stop making false accusations and withdraw the complaint. Nitya tells the officer that Dadi is threatening her in front of him. Arjun finally gives the medicine to the nurse, who tells him he arrived just in time. Arjun thanks Kaashvi for her help. Kaashvi replies that Jagadish is her father, so it’s okay. She then takes a call from Micky and learns about Romila’s arrest but decides not to tell Arjun. She lies, saying she is going to the office and leaves. Arjun wonders why Kaashvi lied.
Dadi and others apologize to Nitya. Nitya says she will withdraw the complaint only if Dadi cleans her sandals because Romila dirtied them. Micky asks Nitya not to go too far, but Dadi agrees to clean the sandals. Just as she is about to do it, Kaashvi stops her and scolds Nitya, saying she will clean it instead. But before Kaashvi can do it, Arjun stops her.
