Yeh Hai Chahatein 18th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Dadi asks Kaashvi to marry Pradyumna for the baby’s sake. Kaashvi tells Dadi that she wants to talk to Pradyumna alone. She goes inside with him and says she doesn’t know what to do. Pradyumna suggests they tell everyone they’re getting married in court in Delhi, but they won’t actually do it. He says they can go abroad for their honeymoon and then claim they’re divorced. In the end, Kaashvi would be a single mother.

Kaashvi tells Dadi that she and Pradyumna have decided to marry tomorrow. Dadi is happy to hear this and blesses Kaashvi. Mahendra congratulates Pradyumna and says he’s lucky to have Kaashvi as his wife. Mahima is shocked and asks how this is possible. Kaashvi explains about the court marriage. Pradyumna says he’s taking Kaashvi to Europe. Mahima wanted this life and decided she wouldn’t let Kaashvi have it.

Meanwhile, Nitya sees Meera helping Karun with his homework. She asks Karun to go out with her, but he refuses, saying he has homework to finish. The next day, Romila tells Mahima that she knows Mahima is jealous that Kaashvi is marrying Pradyumna. Mahima lies and says she’s happy with her life and not envious. Romila points out that Mahendra may be rich and loves Mahima, but he’s old. Mahima tells Romila to stop talking nonsense.
Romila says Mahima will care for Mahendra like a nurse, while Kaashvi will be happy with young and rich Pradyumna. Mahima decides she won’t let this marriage happen. Arjun cries, remembering Kaashvi’s words. Meera asks him why he looks upset. He tells her Kaashvi thinks Meera is pregnant with his child. Meera says he should have told Kaashvi the truth. Arjun says he can’t do that. She urges him to stop hurting himself and tell Kaashvi the truth. She says she wants Arjun to find his love.
Romila visits the Bajwa house and brings sweets for Nitya. She reveals that Kaashvi is marrying Pradyumna. Nitya says she’s happy Kaashvi is moving on. Arjun is shocked to hear this. Meera tells him to go and fight for his love. Mahima lies to Kaashvi, saying one of the girl’s parents is forcing her to marry. Kaashvi says they should stop the marriage. Mahima suggests they go to the mass wedding to stop it.
Jagadish tells Nitya he’s happy Meera is guiding Karun in the right direction. He accuses Nitya of spoiling Karun. Nitya gets angry hearing this. The next day, Arjun thanked Meera for supporting him. He decides to tell Kaashvi the truth and leaves. Nitya learns Karun is ready for his exam and decides to do something because if Karun tops the exam, Meera will get all the credit.
