Her parents, H.B. Takkar and Annu Takkar, raised her. She got her bachelor’s degree from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. The younger sister of Neeraj Takkar, Vaishali’s career in television began with the role of Sanjana Singh in the 2015 show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus.
From there, she kept trying out different roles on shows like “Yeh Hai Aashiqui,” “Lal Ishq,” and “Vish Aur Amrit” before landing the role of “Ananya” on “Manmohini 2,” a supernaturally romantic show on Zee TV. Tragically, on October 16, 2022, Takkar was found dead at her home in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, at the age of 29.
