Udne Ki Aasha 20th August 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Renuka welcomes her friend Kusum to her home and greets her warmly. Renuka asks Sayali to bring water for the guests. Kusum compliments Renuka on her beauty and how well she cares for herself. Renuka feels very happy hearing this. She then introduces her sons to Kusum one by one. When Renuka says her elder son is very smart and hardworking, Kusum’s husband asks about his job.

Renuka lies, saying that Tejas is a partner in a company that deals with many branded cars. She also exaggerates his skills and hard work. Sachin and Sayali are both surprised by Renuka’s continuous lies. Renuka also introduces Roshni to the guest, saying she is a prominent entrepreneur who runs a beauty parlour with her efforts and intelligence. She also talks about Roshni’s father’s wealth. When Renuka introduces Sachin, she lies again, saying that Sachin works in a travel agency.

Sachin and Sayali are confused about what is happening in Renuka’s mind. Sachin tries to correct his mother, but Renuka insists on hiding Sachin’s real job, fearing it might damage her reputation. Renuka then asks Sayali to bring Akash into the room. Akash doesn’t want to come in front of the guests, but Sayali requests him to go just once. Akash follows Sayali and comes in front of the guests.
Renuka lies again, saying that Akash has completed a cooking course from a foreign university, which is untrue. Akash also tries to correct the lie, but Renuka refuses to reveal Akash’s real qualifications. Sachin and Sayali are both confused by Renuka’s falsehoods. Sachin becomes very angry with his mother’s behaviour and cannot tolerate the lies anymore. However, his wife Sayali asks him to be patient and observe Renuka’s behaviour.
Sayali is asked to bring snacks for the guests. Akash is told to talk with Kusum and her husband, but he feels very uncomfortable and cannot say anything. When Sayali brings the food, Renuka praises her daughter-in-law’s efforts. Kusum eagerly wants to see Renuka’s husband, Paresh, but when he comes home, she is surprised by how handsome he looks. Renuka had always said she would marry a handsome man, but when Kusum sees Paresh, she realizes that he is not as good-looking as Renuka claimed.
