Mangal Lakshmii 28th July 2025 Written Update: The episode begins with Sowmya asking Adit which dress looks good on her. Adit appears confused, prompting Sowmya to lash out, saying, “You just don’t care! You and your mother only care about Mangal.” She adds, “I’m observing Teej for you, but you don’t even appreciate it.” Adit apologizes and promises to take her shopping after his interview. Sowmya happily agrees.
Later, in the rain, Mangal learns that no cabs are currently available from her company, so she hires a private cab. She quickly senses that the driver has bad intentions and requests him to stick to the main road, but he refuses. Mangal notices that her phone has no signal. When she insists the driver stop the car, another man suddenly gets in. She demands they unlock the door, but they ignore her. With no network and rising panic, Mangal wonders how to escape.
The driver and his accomplice snatch her phone and prevent her from calling anyone. As Mangal protests, the car loses control and meets with an accident. Taking advantage of the chaos, Mangal breaks a window and escapes before the men can catch her.
Elsewhere, Adit is also caught in the rain. He thinks, “Sowmya didn’t give me the car today either, and there are no cabs around. How will I reach?” Meanwhile, the driver and his accomplice argue about how to recapture Mangal. Adit sees them and considers asking for help but hesitates due to their behavior.
Kapil, on a phone call, learns that Mangal has successfully cracked a business deal. He wonders why she hasn’t called him and assumes she’s busy with the children. Pratima tells Kapil to call Mangal home for Teej preparations. Kapil responds that Mangal is unwell and needs rest. Pratima, however, thinks to herself, “I want Mangal away from Adit on Teej.”
Sowmya, on a call with her friend, says that Adit has gone to Ghaziabad for an interview and should be back soon. Her friend asks if she’s observing Teej, and Sowmya replies that she’s planning to get some nice gifts from Adit. She then tries to call him, but the call doesn’t go through.
Back on the road, Mangal falls while running. The driver and his accomplice catch up to her, claiming she can’t escape. Mangal fights back, hitting them with a rock and a stick and shouting for help. Adit hears her screams. As the men try to overpower her again, Mangal runs and hides behind a tree. Thinking quickly, she plays a police siren on her phone. The men, believing the police are arriving, flee.
Pratima calls Shanti and says Mangal must learn to balance both her children and her new family, and that she must accept Kapil’s family as her own — especially with Teej approaching. Shanti assures her that Mangal will follow their traditions and perform Teej for Kapil. Pratima is satisfied.
Mangal walks on, shaken. Adit finds her and asks what happened. Mangal tells him everything. Adit is furious and says, “How could Kapil let you travel such a long distance alone? I don’t understand how you always end up in such situations.” Noticing her cough, he offers her water and reminds her that the doctor said she needs to stay hydrated. Mangal drinks it. Adit says, “There’s no point talking to you. What would happen if I wasn’t here?” Just then, a tempo arrives. They stop it and request a ride to Delhi. The driver agrees. Adit helps Mangal into the vehicle.
The next day, Mangal readies her thali plate for Teej in front of Maata Rani and places the chunri in it. Adit comes to dining table. Kusum asks Adit to come soon as today is Teej. He asks her to tell to Mangal. Kusum says Mangal doing Teej for Kapil and Sowmya doing for you and Sowmya already upset as you didn’t come early last night so come early today. Kapil comes there. He tells Mangal that he came to take her home for Teej. Mangal says she is coming and takes her Thaali. Chunri slips from the plate. Adit and Mangal hold the chunri. Kapil notices it.
