Mangal Lakshmii 16th August 2025 Written Update: The episode begins with Monisha questioning Adit. She asks him, “You left Mangal, then why are you upset seeing her remarry? When someone leaves us, it hurts. I feel that pain with Kapil, and you’re feeling the same with Mangal.”
Adit denies it. But Monisha continues, “Because of your plan, Kapil hates me even more. That’s why I played smart and made him agree to let me stay here. I know you still want Mangal, and I want Kapil. So let’s join hands and stop this marriage.”
Adit replies, “I have nothing to do with Mangal. I only care about my kids. I don’t want Kapil interfering in our lives. I’ll support you, but only for this reason, not because I like Mangal.”
Meanwhile, Mangal prepares a dress for Krishna Ji. Akshat comes and praises her, calling her the best. She reminds him to finish his homework before they go to Kapil’s house for the pooja. He agrees and leaves.
Kusum arrives with Chappan Bhog and asks Mangal to take it to Kapil’s home. Mangal asks her to come along. Kusum refuses, remembering the Teej incident. But Mangal emotionally convinces her, saying it’s her daughter’s wish. Kusum agrees, adding, “Since you’ll be leaving in 20 days, I’ll do whatever makes you happy.”
Adit, on the other hand, keeps thinking about Monisha’s plan.
Later, Monisha dresses up in blue, recalling Kapil once said she looked beautiful in that color. She walks in front of him, but he’s busy on a call and doesn’t notice her. She feels disappointed.
Just then, Kapil sees Mangal and can’t take his eyes off her. Monisha feels jealous. She reminds Kapil about the file she gave him. Kapil ends his call and praises Mangal instead.
Monisha taunts that Mangal is too simple for him. But Kapil replies that her simplicity is what makes her special. Mangal enters, and Kapil compliments her look. She smiles and tells him that she invited all the employees to the pooja without asking him. Kapil happily says she did the right thing.
Mangal also invites Monisha, then leaves with Kapil. Upset, Monisha calls Adit and tells him to come to Kapil’s house that night. She hints that something big will happen. Adit wonders what she is planning.
At Kapil’s house, Mangal readies Krishna Ji. Akshat comes dressed as Krishna, and Ishana joins them. Mangal feels delighted. Kusum and Adit arrive too, with Kusum handing over the Chappan Bhog.
Soon, Shanti and Lipika come in. Shanti blesses Mangal and says she is happy that Mangal will be this house’s daughter-in-law. She also wishes the same for Lipika. But Mangal gently says Lipika should like the boy herself. Lipika hugs Mangal warmly.
Meanwhile, Monisha secretly meets Adit. He asks why she called him, saying he doesn’t want trouble in that house again. Monisha says she’ll reveal her plan at the right time. Annoyed, Adit leaves.
Later, Monisha calls someone and instructs them to stop the lady who was supposed to break the Dahi Handi at Kapil’s house.
During the pooja, Mangal welcomes the Pehla Swad employees, but notices they look worried. They explain that Sweta didn’t come, so they need someone else to break the Dahi Handi. They suggest Mangal should do it.
Mangal hesitates, saying she can’t. But they encourage her. Akshat also insists, saying he wants to show his friends that his mother is a superwoman. Other ladies also press her to agree. Mangal looks torn.
Precap: Mangal breaks the Dahi Handi. But as the liquid falls on her, she feels sudden pain and is about to fall from the human pyramid. Everyone looks worried.
