Vasundhara mentions that they heard Rannvijay singing after a long time. Ragini says that Rannvijay doesn’t sing a happy birthday song but sings for Vaiju. This makes Jaya feel sad. Rannvijay explains that he never had a special moment to sing before. Jaya remembers when she and Rannvijay were celebrating their one-month anniversary, and she had asked him to sing for her, but he refused.

Ragini asks Vaiju to make a wish before cutting the cake. Vaiju says they have already given her so much. Jaya tells her to ask God for something and to close her eyes while thinking about it. Vaiju thinks of Rannvijay and opens her eyes, feeling sad when she sees him. Kaveri asks Vaiju what she wishes for, but Jaya tells her to keep it a secret or it won’t come true. Vaiju thinks that whether she keeps it a secret or not, her wish will never come true. Vaiju gives cake to everyone, and Rannvijay feeds Vaiju, which makes her happy. Arhaan then says he will show his gift to Vaiju.

The family members talk about planting trees for her. One by one, everyone plants a tree, including Jaya, who again starts feeling sad. Rannvijay goes to give Jaya cake, and she says she was surprised that he sang for Vaiju. He says he felt awkward and might have sung off-key. Jaya denies this and says he sang very well but never sang for her. She wonders if she couldn’t inspire him to sing. Rannvijay explains that he heard Vaiju missing Durga, so he sang to make her feel like she was with her family.
Vasundhara tells Vaiju that she wants to give her something. She takes off her gold necklace and puts it on Vaiju. Vaiju says she can’t accept it. Sulekha comes to Vaiju and takes the necklace off, starting to insult Vaiju. Sulekha says they have already given Vaiju whatever she wanted but that she cannot accept this jewellery because it belongs to the Moide Patil family. Ragini tries to stop Sulekha, but she continues, questioning who Vaiju is. She says they can show love to Vaiju, but they cannot give her their jewellery. Jaya says that Vaiju, her elder sister, has the right to be part of their family.
Vasundhara says that to her, Vaiju is just like Jaya and Ragini. Vaiju feels sad because of Sulekha’s hurtful words. Sulekha says that Vaiju is Rannvijay’s sister-in-law, so she should give to her in-laws, not take anything from them. Vaiju apologizes and says she doesn’t want anything. Rannvijay goes to Vaiju and asks her to stand up for herself.
Vaiju says Sulekha is right because she is just Jaya’s sister and has no right to stay in their house. Rannvijay takes her hand, leads her to the door, and says that no one will question her rights now. He holds her hand and takes her to Rannvijay’s room. The episode ends with him telling her she can come to his room anytime.
