Jhanak 16th August 2025 Written Update: The episode starts with Jhanak saying that she has accepted Rishi as her husband and cannot accept anyone else. Nutan feels helpless, saying she failed as a mother because she cannot do anything for her daughter, even though Jhanak is her whole world.
Just then, Jhanak gets a call from Putul. She tells Jhanak that Dadabhai suffered a heart attack after an argument at home about visiting Jhanak. His condition is very serious, and Putul requests Jhanak to come and see him.
Jhanak agrees immediately. She tells Putul not to worry and asks her to send the hospital address. She then informs Nutan and decides to go to Kolkata. Nutan suggests waiting for Parashar, but Jhanak insists she has no time to wait and must see Dadabhai.
Trouble for Rishi
The next day, a police officer tells Rishi that Krishnendu is spreading photos of him and Jhanak to damage his reputation. He asks if Rishi really married the village girl. Rishi brushes it off and goes to meet the DIG.
The DIG tells Rishi that a complaint has been filed against him. Because of this, his promotion has been stopped, and he may even get suspended. He shows Rishi the photo of him with Jhanak and asks why he never mentioned it. Rishi says he will explain everything in the committee meeting.
Later, Rishi calls Aditi and tells her about Dadabhai’s condition. He feels helpless without her. Aditi suggests that if Dadabhai wants Jhanak as his daughter-in-law, maybe he should accept it. Rishi is shocked by her words, but Aditi says she will come to the hospital.
At the Hospital
Rishi asks his family when the surgery will start. Abhimanyu replies it will happen later. Putul tells everyone that Dadabhai wants to meet Jhanak, so she called her. Rishi gets angry, saying Jhanak should not come, especially if Aditi sees her.
But Jhanak arrives at the hospital. Rishi tries to stop her, but she says she only came to meet Dadabhai. Neelu scolds her, saying they don’t need her there, but Jhanak replies that Dadabhai himself wants to see her.
When Abhimanyu refuses to let her in, Putul comes and supports Jhanak. At that moment, Aditi enters and sees Jhanak standing there. The tension rises as Rishi worries everything will be ruined.
Putul finally takes Jhanak to Dadabhai’s room. Jhanak calls out to him, and he wakes up. He asks Putul to take Jhanak home, but Jhanak insists on staying in the hospital to care for him.
Meanwhile, Neelu tells Aditi that Rishi had fought with Dadabhai about going to Simulboni. Aditi says she doesn’t want to discuss it—she only came out of humanity. She also understands that Dadabhai has accepted Jhanak as his daughter-in-law.

The doctor informs the family that Dadabhai urgently needs O- blood. Jhanak says her blood group is O- and offers to donate blood to save him.
