Amma ji criticizes Agastya for supporting Imlie and accuses Imlie of easily trapping men. Amma ji blames Govind for the situation and proceeds with Shivani’s roka ceremony the next day. Sonali tries to call Amrit, but he’s drunk and asleep in his car. She texts him, demanding answers about why he set fire to Chaudhary Sweets.

This episode has a lot of drama and cultural nuance, mostly about relationships, societal expectations, and gender roles. When Imlie bravely stands up for Shivani against Amma ji’s traditional views, it shows how different generations have different ideas about relationships. Sonali and Amrit’s relationship adds an exciting twist to the main story, especially since the fire at Chaudhary Sweets is still a mystery.
The conflict between tradition and modernity is shown even more in Navya’s disappointment with the wedding dress, which shows how hard it is to adapt to new times. Humour is skillfully woven into the story, especially in Imlie and Agastya’s playful argument, a nice break from the episode’s darker themes.
