Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 20th February 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Ishaan speaks at the wrong time. Nishikanth tells Ishaan to check the time. Ishaan quickly finds an excuse. Nishikanth then asks Ishaan to attend a very important meeting. Ishaan goes to the meeting and says sorry to Yashwant for being late. Yashwant has something to say about Ishaan. Yashwant wants to know why Sharma suddenly wanted the meeting.
Sharma tells Yashwant that they usually share problems in their magazine every three months. Sharma mentions there’s a big problem they need to discuss. Sharma shows the problem on a screen. Nishikanth reads the problem out loud. It says that their institute helps people in need with money for studies, but some are not using this scholarship correctly. It explicitly states that Savi, Ishaan’s wife, shouldn’t get this help because Ishaan has enough power to misuse it.
Yashwant is upset that people are doubting their good work and discusses it. Ishaan stands up for Savi, saying she earned the scholarship through hard work. Sharma tells Yashwant they need to decide what to do, mainly because bad talk on social media could make them lose university funding.
Savi talks to Karuna, a nurse, to determine how much they owe for Harini’s medical care. Savi finds out it’s a lot of money, over six lakhs, and is thankful for her scholarship, which allows her to give some money back to Ishaan. Ishaan argues that the rule should be removed. Yashwant says they can think about changing the rule later but must follow it now.
Nishikanth wonders why they are worried about this rule. He suggests they should stop Savi’s scholarship. Another person, Srikanth, suggests Ishaan can pay the fees himself. Ishaan doesn’t respond. Ishaan tells Savi that her scholarship is stopped because they are married. He explains it’s a college rule that if students can support themselves or get married, they lose their help. Yashwant happily tells Surekha that Savi’s scholarship is cancelled.
Surekha is shocked and tells Yashwant she will handle the rest. Yashwant agrees. Savi asks Ishaan if he was part of this decision. Ishaan says it wasn’t just his choice. Savi wants to know why Ishaan didn’t defend her. She declares she’ll fight for her rights and leaves. Savi tries to go to college. Ishaan tries to stop her, asking what she’ll do there. Savi says she’ll tell everyone their marriage is just for show to make Harini feel they are married, and she’ll leave Ishaan once Harini is better.
Precap: A police officer tries to confront Ishaan, thinking he’s bothering Savi. Savi stops the officer and tells him they are married.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 20th February 2024 Episode Review
This episode has a mix of drama and tension as Ishaan starts his speech at the wrong time and is gently corrected by Nishikanth. A board meeting is called to deal with a serious complaint, which shows how complicated power, privilege, and the misuse of scholarships are at the Bhosle Institute. The episode does a great job of showing the moral problems the characters have, especially Ishaan, who is in a tough spot when his wife Savi’s scholarship is called into question because of alleged power abuse.
The story does a great job of showing how people interact with each other and how societal expectations can be stressful. Ishaan’s character is deepened because he had to fight for his wife’s scholarship based on her merit, even though the school had rules against it and people on social media were watching.
The story takes an exciting turn when Savi decides to fight for her rights and comes up with a smart plan to protect their fake marriage for Harini’s sake.
