Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 16th February 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Ishaan tells Surekha always to stay happy and scold him if she’s upset. Surekha tells Ishaan to go to college. Ishaan agrees and leaves. Reeva stops Ishaan and gives him a lunch box because he hasn’t eaten. Ishaan takes it and goes. Shikha feels bad for not speaking the truth to Ishaan, and because of this, Surekha is very angry with Savi.
Ashmita shares that when she was newly married, she saw right and wrong things but was too scared to tell Ishaan the truth about a misunderstanding, and she regrets it every day. Ashmita encourages Shikha to tell Ishaan the truth. Nishikanth asks Ashmita to help him find a document he misplaced. Ashmita leaves to help him. Nishikanth locks their room and accuses Ashmita of trying to replace Surekha.
He warns her not to go against Surekha or support Savi. Nishikanth threatens her if she does it again. Ashmita is upset by this. Ishaan comes back home late. He finds Savi standing on one leg and asks if she’s been doing that since he left. Savi reminds him that he was the one who punished her. Ishaan says he was just angry and didn’t mean it. Savi takes her medicine after Ishaan reminds her. Anvi tells Ishaan and Savi that Yashwant wants to see Savi.
Yashwant asks Savi about her meeting with Sanjeev and learns she talked about her parents and marriage to Ishaan. Yashwant is concerned about Savi going out and wants to stop her from going to college to keep her away from trouble. Ishaan takes care of Savi’s leg. Savi explains why she met the Commissioner.
Later, Yashwant and Nishikanth decide they must prevent Savi from going to college like they controlled Shikha. They think if they handle things cleverly, Ishaan will agree with them. Ishaan makes arrangements for Savi to sleep comfortably and offers a separate bed for himself.
Precap: Ishaan tells Savi that breaking house rules means she has to study every day as punishment, which surprises her. Ishaan helps Savi with her studies, but she notices he’s tired and makes tea, only to find Reeva has already brought coffee for Ishaan.

This episode tells a complicated story about family relationships, misunderstandings, and what happens when you don’t tell the truth. Ishaan’s sincere plea for peace and happiness sets a tone of reconciliation, but tensions build up underneath as the story continues. Surekha’s authority in telling Ishaan to go to college is contrasted with the warmth of family care shown when Reeva gives Ishaan a tiffin. This shows the mix of duty and love that defines their interactions.
The side story involving Ashmita, Shikha, and Nishikanth has darker themes of family power struggles and emotional manipulation. Ashmita feels bad that she didn’t tell Ishaan the whole truth about something that happened in the past. This shows how hard it is to communicate and deal with fear in relationships. Nishikanth’s hostile behaviour toward Ashmita for supposedly trying to take the place of Surekha and back Savi makes the family’s problems even more dangerous.
