Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 16th April 2024 Written Update: In today’s episode, Surekha shows the clothes she bought for Chinmay. Chinmay tells Surekha that he thinks these clothes were bought initially for Ishaan and given to him because Ishaan didn’t like them. Chinmay remembers how Surekha used to favour Ishaan more and tells her it’s too late for her to show love to him now. Chinmay asks Surekha to leave his room.
Savi sees this happen. She looks deeply into Chinmay’s eyes and tries to find out if he still has kindness in him. She tells him what she thinks about his behaviour. Chinmay responds and then walks away. Savi questions Jeetu on how he can live with Chinmay. Jeetu shares with Savi that Chinmay once asked about his child and remembers every little detail about the baby. This makes Savi think she might have misjudged Chinmay.
Surekha is lost in thoughts about Chinmay while she’s boiling milk. Savi turns off the stove to stop the milk from spilling. Savi shares with Surekha that when she and her mom were upset with each other, they would make Modak, a sweet dish, for each other as a way to make up. Savi encourages Surekha to find a similar way to mend things with Chinmay and then leaves.
Surekha decides to cook all of Chinmay’s favourite dishes. At dinner, Reeva notices Surekha is happy, and Surekha shares her thoughts on fixing relationships. Everyone gathers for the meal. Savi compliments Anvi on the play she wrote and tells the Bhosle family that Anvi will be the cultural secretary. Durva questions Anvi about her knowledge of Shriram, and Savi shares Shriram’s good qualities, thinking of Ishaan.
Surekha is reminded of Chinmay returning home after a long absence, similar to a story from their culture. Yashwant advises Surekha not to make such comparisons. Surekha tells Chinmay she has prepared all his favourite food. Chinmay suggests that the family should eat together like in old times.

Chinmay insists Ishaan sits next to him and asks Surekha to serve them. Surekha tries to feed Chinmay herself, but he reminds her of how she used to prioritize Ishaan over him. Chinmay tells her he has already eaten with Jeetu and leaves.
Precap: Ishaan and Savi dress up as Lord Sriram and Lord Sita. Lord Sriram breaks the Shiva Dhanush, a bow, and they exchange garlands, symbolizing marriage.
